I was chatting in a FB group, I said I can no longer buy merch from a certain seller. Someone read it and now he/she thinks I do drugs and I'm "screwing my life".

MERCH = MERCHANDISE

You major derp.

Feeling jealous. It is not becoming... but I feel it so intensely. Why are some things so easy for some people to come by? And they seem so bored and unimpressed about it... while you are killing yourself for some sort of semblance of what they have. It makes me loathe them.

Ugh, I need to be grateful for what I have and not compare myself to others. This is one of my big character flaws. It is not pretty.

Can relate... Saw a sort-of friend of mine post pictures of a picnic with two of her friends that I've met before, one of which I like and would love to befriend, too. It pretty much ruined my day and I know I'm allowing it to, but I don't know how to feel better because there's no one to talk to or do anything with.

Anyway... not helping, sorry.

Some of the greatest inventors, artists and minds of our time have died alone and penniless.

example;

Vincent Van Gogh-
Today his iconic paintings sell for tens of millions of dollars each and his style is immediately recognizable to people all over the world. But in his lifetime, van Gogh made only $109 from sales of his paintings. He was a troubled artist who struggled with anxiety and mental illness most of his life, which was not helped by his inability to find appreciation for his work. Cutting off his earlobe in December 1888 was the start of his last downward spiral that culminated with van Gogh (presumably) shooting himself in the chest. His last words were, "The sadness will last forever."

Its really annoying that people are liking/reblogging, without thinking, a pic titled "1 minute old elephant" and adding comments such as "OMG that's cute" when its obviously too small for a full-term baby elephant and a little research shows that its a dead elephant foetus. A little critical thinking goes a long way :veryangry:
