  • Well if you want rain we've got it - just had a massive thunderstorm that looked more like a monsoon! It's June for crying out loud! I live about a 40 minute drive away from London btw.
Me too.. that sounds nice. I've noticed as well how the people out there seemed generally more pleasant. If there's one thing I can't stand it's people being horrible and impolite.
hey your not much older than me 2, years. im 25. there is someone in my class who is 29, her name is amie too. same spelling.

I live in Melbourne, Australia. And im going to go to Brisbane, Australia. which is in the north. 3rd biggest city here. looking forward to it. im going to bring up lots of books.

I just got back from the movies and saw terminator salvation. it was good. i love christian bale....heh. he is in really great movies.

where do you live? you look younger than 26.
yes, I'm doing alright now, i caught strep throat from my nephew (which is weird because i never had strep throat before) But now the antibiotics are kicking in! I'm feeling a lot better-Thankies!
Hi Amie, we went to the south coast in cornwall for a week. Now i've got back I realise how much nicer it was there than it is in the city. It did have it's dull moments because it's very rural and (weather permitting) you tend to run out of places to visit, but hell i'll take the sea air any day. Ah well, back to the ever more daunting reality! Thanks for the picture comment btw!
sorry i took so long to accept ur friend request, i hardly ever check my notifications here
hey there too. im going well. started keeping myself a bit busy. im on a 6 week break from school. anyway i think im going to a different city for a few weeks. hang out with friends and family up there.

    how are you?
Thank you Amie so much for your words, I know that if you were forced to do it , you will be great at it... we just need a little push from time to time to do new things and we may even surprise ourselves ..I guess...I know I'm not at ease doing it cuz I got nervous the whole day about it and felt sick the whole time, but still I felt good about myself after the meetings ended ...

how are your cute kids doing?
That acoustic sounds awesome and I love the fact it was passed down. You'll have to teach your kids. I love to play all music from beatles to metallica . I've been thinking about buying or looking at least at a tele. But I want something with a tremolo. Maybe a J5 tele. Next chance I get I'm going to have a jam at the music shop. You should check out Mattrach on youtube but beware I always feel inspired and disheartened at the same time.
hello there. everyone keeps getting me confused with you lol. my nickname in the chatroom is 'sleepy'.

anyways, thanks for the add sleepy lol. :p
Hiya Amie, we haven't chatted for ages, i was just wondering how things are going for you! How are your baby and Hayden doing? hope everything is ok *hugs*
    Hey sleepy ,

Yes, the summer is too hot here, yesterday was 104f ..sometimes it goes to 120f here, I was sweating inside the house , I was sweating outside the house, I was sweating when I was taking a shower ..it's crazy hot...

Anyway, I'm doing alright these days , I just came back from our first meeting to be trained as a Facilitator for some inter-cultural meetings...you can read more about it here : being a Facilitator

I was very nervous the whole day about it, and the first half hour was hell and didn't talk at all, but things got comfortable , and I started talking and actually enjoyed it a little at the end...maybe because I knew I was leaving in the next minutes lol

Good luck on your jobhunt, hope you can find a great job that suites you ...

    Take care
Hey Amie, yeah im really lucky to of met up with Pink,we actualy dont live close at all though,it can be like 9 hours on the train because we live at total opposite ends of England,300 miles apart i think but it was worth it.

But aw :( you wont always be alone Amie,i think anyone would feel so lucky to have you as a friend, your such a caring special lovley person, hope your okay!Im still a bit poorly so i havnt done much.Speak soon
Ah I love it! Well, perhaps not the sticky, humid part. I'd be quite happy if I never saw a cold winter again...Gotta make the most of the sunshine in England..it's a rarity!
Hey. Its a Epiphone Les Paul. I bought It so I could rock it like Slash minus the Hair. I also have a tanglewood acoustic which I'm in love with. Properly abit too much
pretty simple than ; i thought that you were picking the most weirdest of us (when going thru tough and wirdest times heh). So, what is stopping you from making friends in your real life? .... In ma case it is like some kind of barrier that i dont feel as a part of me. Also, recently i easily got annoyed by how people are generally predictable so i got bored with them easily.

I wanna tell you that u make great pictures of nature, sunsets etc, really like them.
