Actually North Korea played really well from what I could see. They were fighting. You're right, if we don't have Korea to root for then we'll have Japan. They're all Asian so that's what counts. I have the luxury of being mixed a whole bunch of **** so if one team is out then I can always find another team to root for. lol

Ya, I guess having more than one country to naturally root for is a plus, except North+South+East+West Koreas with Japan thrown in for good measure is still obviously not anywhere as good as a team like Italy. lol. It's like saying, "OK, I'm going to trade in your brand new Ferrari for a bunch of Hyundais." :: It's like, "Naaaaaw... I'd rather take the Ferrari, kthanx."

Aw, thanks, Serafina! My dad was probably going nuts because he's really into soccer. I'm actually glad I wasn't around him for this game because he's one of those angry fans who thinks he's a coach. lol. Bah, it's not like S. Korea had any real shot at the Water Closet title anyway. I'll definitely be rooting for Italy vs NZ though! Back-to-back Water Closet champs! Woot!

LOL! OMG, I know! I hate when athletes flop in any sport. It just looks so wrong... like have some pride, ya know!

Oh and ya, I'll be rooting for your country come Sunday, for sure, but don't forget to root for my peeps (South Korea) tomorrow vs Argentina... They're definitely gonna need all the prayers they can get just to finish with a tie!

LOL! Naw, it's from a box, but I figured being Asian shouldn't preclude me from doing something so douchy... J/K. I honestly think the hair is just dirty in that pic. lol. My hair can definitely look brown after a day out, sweating in the sun... which actually happens quite often since I'm known to give Bear Grylls a run for his money.

Oh, and... Soo desu ka? Arigatoo gozaimasu. Nihongo o hanashimasu ka? Nihongo o hanasemasen. (<-- It took me like an hour to look this up! lol *sigh*)

After what you told me, I think a possible explanation for our sitches is that those belonging to a particular ethnic group are much, much more keen on all the variations in features of their people, so what may seem like a preposterous comparison to us (and others outside those groups) is actually pretty accurate. In other words and to put it bluntly, they've seen things we haven't... There might very well be twins of Serafina walking around in Hazara, just like there might be twins of token asian walking around in Mexico. lol.

But ya, I will say though from what I recall, I definitely don't see how anyone could mistake you for East Asian. heh. But again, I've seen (supposedly) "pure blood" Koreans who were hardcore racially ambiguous. I guess genetics can be funny that way... either that, or someone up the family tree was pulling shenanigans worthy of sharing on Jerry Springer! ::

Oh and tbh, I'm not really sure what ethnicity I thought you were. At first, I assumed you were East Asian because of your Hello Kitty avatar, but then I saw a couple pics of you (one with your hubby and one of you in a really nice scarf), and just my cursory impression was that you were Polynesian, or maybe South American or Filipino.

I also googled Hazara/Pakistani women, and I suppose I can see how people could think that you belong to one of those ethnicities. For some reason, I get mistaken quite often for being Mexican (lol), but it's always only Mexicans who are fooled.
