  • Well, most pathogenic microorganisms (those that cause disease) are actually resident microbiota (helpful microorganisms). So, bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus which can cause a wide array of diseases can be found on skin etc.
Yes. Relationships are very important. I actually feel quite lost when I am not around people for a long time. Like yesterday, I was at home all day and did not go to group therapy like I normally do on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays. I felt kinda sad and lonely. I am the type of person that needs human companionship/relationships to lead a happy-go-lucky life. How do you feel about that?
    Thanks for welcoming me back.

Yeah I am definitely feeling much better than ever before. I never want to go back to the hospital any time soon.
Further study! Maybe a Masters, but now that I have the top grade I'm looking into funded PhDs.

I like haematology and genetics the most, but I'm most interested in microbiology, I love how a tiny bacterium or virus can be so catastrophic when exposed to the right environment!
Both actually. I have gotten into other things so I kinda left this site for a while. Plus I was in and out of hospitals and even went to hospice and a nursing home rehab.

I am so happy to be home with my Daddy and his dog, Coco. :-D
I lose track of time a lot, don't worry about it! :)

Just found out I am graduating with a first class honours :) we learn lots of things, such as medical and research based techniques and theory. It's a bit like a laboratory-based medicine degree but with skills in research (if we choose that route instead). So we learn about infections, cancers, genetic diseases, transfusion diseases, etc. there's so much!
A mixture! I'm glad that I've now done all that I can, and I managed to get a first in my dissertation/project, so as long as the exam results go the right way, I could be graduating with a first!

Thank you :) what have you been up to?
Very well thank you, I finished last Tuesday, I'm just awaiting the results now :) pretty anxious wait haha. How are you?
To be truthful its not me that's the cook, it's my partner. I really don't know which spices he tends to favour but whatever they are the combination is gorgeous! I suppose I'm a passable cook but I don't enjoy making meals as much as he does. I do enjoy making cakes though...I make a lovely coffee and white chocolate cake.
ps. so sorry it takes me an age to reply, I only tend to be here on a weekend. :)
Could be. I think perhaps people feel safer if they are anonymous? (sorry for my slow response. I hadn't opened my computer all weekend!)
I think it's because I'm pretty extroverted... But, still, I chose a photo of myself facing away from the camera. Wonder what a shrink would say about that? Ha!
    Okay nice.

I'm a reasonable guitar player, I can play chords and read some notes. It's great that you're learning guitar. It's a very great outlet. I love to listen to it as well Especially spanish guitar sounds and rock of course
