Hi.I have a couple of fightstar albums even though I have not heard them in a while.Charlie Simpson has a good voice I thing.The voice of the other singer in the group irritates me though.

I go through stages of listing to four or five bands mainly for a few weeks then I might move on a few others.I have a few hundred cds at home that I have accumlated over the years.How about you.Im imagining that you have loads plus vinyls etc.

Its sad when band members in great groups like Guns n Roses,The Beatles,Smashing pumkins etc fall out big time.Some times it can get nasty involving law suits etc.Band members not talking for years etc.What do you think were some of the most intense rock break ups.

Hi.I think you misunderstood my question or its meaning was not totally clear.Heehe.Maybe abit of both.I meant what artists from your collection did you last listen to.

Alot of the groups I listen to I have done for a number of years.Some artists like M Jackson,Queen,Guns n Roses,Feeder,Manic street preachers,I have listened to them since I was a teenager.Im in my thirties now even though still feel like Im 18 sometimes.Heehee.

I dont like to generalize since some of the groups formed after 2000 I do like.Guys like The Artic Monkeys,The Keiser chiefs.But I do understand the point you were making about bands sounding similar.I dont think thats a new thing though since there have always been copycats.

Look at the whole Nirvana grunge sound and the copycats that inspired.

Hi.You must have a good memory for music.When I like an album then I will listen to it again and again.For example the recent album I got was Fortress by Alterbridge.The album is full of good guitar riffs and thoughful lyrics.Great songs like Waters rising,the univited.

Whats the most recent artist were you were listening to.I still listen to whole albums through even in the age of singles.How about you.

Some of mine are Guns and Roses with Welcome to the Jungle.Deep purple with smoke on the water.Jimmy Hendrix with Cross town traffic.Manic Street Preachers with Motor Cycle emptiness.Red Hot Chilly Peppers with under the bridge.Fleetwood Mac with the Chain.Smashing Pumpkins with Zero.

Wow.Your song riff list is huge.Did you come up with it off the top of your head.I went online to refresh my mind and use you tube.Thinking back on these songs and listened to them again was very pleasant.

Choosing the best riffs from Rage against the Machine,Soundgarden,Metalica,Guns n Rose must have been tricky for you due to the quality of their work.

Hi.I would like to hear some of your favourite songs and riffs.

Band members getting more credit than another amongst fans,media has no doubt caused an argument or too and possibly contributed to bands splitting.The leadsinger tends to get a big chunk of the bands attention since they are out in front and are literally the voice of the band.Freddy Mercury,Hendrix etc.

Often the lead singer does alot of the song writting too but obviously not in all cases..Do you think its better if there is one main song writer in the group or group writting is better.Often there seems to be one main writer and the music gets maybe written by the band.But some groups have group writting.

I know that becoming a good guitarists takes alot of practice,time and dedication.There is so much techniques,chords etc to learn.I will stick to it.

I wish sometimes that I was a great guitarists.Usually happens when Im listening to some great guitaring by some like Mark Tremoni,Slash etc.They just blow my mind with the quality of their guitar skills.

Hi.I just realized I sent this message to myself rather than you.Had a Homer Simpson moment.

Its hard to please everyone when it comes to movies.Escpically when the film characters are drawn from comic books loved by lots of people around the world.Characters like Spiderman,Captain America have been around for a long time.Probably the films have introduced these characters to alot of people who may then pick up the comics,dvds.The power of film.In some ways films are more powerful than images,words on a page I think.

What are some of your favourite comic book villians.

Hi. I think I saw the Abrams Star trek film but I can not remember if I liked it or not.That probably says alot since films I enjoy I remember long after seeing them. I do remember some of the original star trek films such as Star trek the Search for Spock,Voyage Home and the Final Frontier.I still remember them years after.Some of the films were too violent for my liking though but that does not make them bad films just films not for me.

I realize that Star trek is not everyones cup of tea and thats fair enough.Its interesting how some people are huge fans of series etc like Doctor Who,Star trek,Star wars and go to conventions in custume.Actually a lady on here I use to speak to goes to conventions dressed in anime custumes.

I have watched some Doctor Who episodes.Its been going for a long time.There is a series called The Sarah Jane Adventures which is a Doctor Who spin off.I quite like that since its similar to Doctor who without the death or more humour.Time travel is a sci fi story telling tool thats served it well.Along with alien invasion.

Are you a fan star trek,Star trek Next Generation etc

Hi.What did you like about the Days of future past story.I quite like it when a story features across multiple comic book titles.For example the Skrulls alien invasion story and the superhero registration story.Yep Captain America does have a good origin story.The whole hero out of time angle is clever.

I quite like The Daredevil origin story and his range of powers too.Agility,enhanced senses etc.I like the less violent Dare devil stories.

Hi.I have seen Arriety the film a few times due to me generally liking the Burrowers stories by Mary Norton and because of the stunning animation of the film.To be honest I like animated films that use the English language and are made for the western market.Its easier for me to get into and understand.How about you.

There are a number of good animated films and series of the Avengers,Fantasic four,Iron man,Superman,Hulk and the Agents of SMASH, Ultimates Spiderman ,the Ultimates around that I like.The animation is great,good stories and a good amount of comedy included.Have you seen any of these.

Hi.Thanks for the reply.There is a Forbidden Planet shop in my local area too stocking the things you mentioned.I use it sometimes but I perfer A place in space due to the larger selection of high price comics and graphic novels.I dont have much spare cash since I only work part time in a resturant.

Some of the front covers of comics like Marvel and DC I would class as pieces of art.The colours,the images,the disign etc.Actually some people collect front covers as you probably know.For example some of the Daredevil ,Xmen and Ultimate comics front covers I have are stunning.

I have not seen the Girl that fell through time but I have heard of it.I like the Ghibuli studio films such as Howls Moving Castle,Arriety.Kikis Delivery service.

Yes when people are younger they often dont appreciate things as much as they should but I guess adults can do the same.

For me too the story is very important.What none superhero titles do you like.There are about two comic shops that I use and they only really stuck superhero tiles but I would be interested in looking at a few non superhero titles.Some of the graphic novels and comics are pricey but luckily a shop called A place in space sells alot of half price comics.

Im a big fan of animated films and saw a number of them over xmas.

Hi.Im pretty much just read Marvel and DC when the mood takes me.It may sound odd but Im not into the more violent titles featuring deaths.I collect the Ultimates comics,Fantastic four,Xmen,Avengers and others from Marvel.From DC I like Buster Gold,Superman and the New Atom.

Nice comic collection.DC has some nice titles like Buster Gold,Superman,The Atom,Teen Titans that I like but Im more into Marvel.Avengers,Thor,Iron man,fantastic four,the Xmen,the ultimate comics etc,
