  • I haven't thought anything in detail but yeah the story might give some hints, he never talks about who he is, where he's from or he never appears before others although people around her demand to see him. A part of her might always know that he doesn't exist but she refuses to believe that. I have to filter the idea more though.
Hello! thanks for your post! I'm new to this forum and so when I read that topic, it intrigued me so much that I'm open to hearing more stories from people who have been afflicted with the term "love shy". Somehow it seems new to me, the things you've mentioned especially what a person has control over in terms of their career vs. love life. Thanks for making the distinction clear. Later! :D
I don't have anything specific in mind yet, but it could be being blind to her mistakes, looking down upon others, ignoring helpful advice and giving other stuff much more importance than her art.
Oh they're just lovely! I'm sure they'll make great stories. I do have a new idea, its nothing much though. More of a vauge idea actually. Its about a famous dancer who always tries to do her best but eventually gets too proud and becomes less sincere to her art. This causes her to loose everything that she had gained over time with her earnest efforts. As she becomes very depressed and confused a guy helps her to realise her mistakes and to recover her confidence. She falls in love with him and becomes completely dependent on him for everything. But as time passes by she realises that he's nothing but her imagination that she unconciously created to help herself.
Well its not too far, I'll say its pretty near from my place but its still new :D Oh that's great, so would you mind sharing some of your new ideas? I'll be more than glad to learn them :)
Oh they're just class projects like measuring intellect or leadership which requirs a little socialising with others and that's the hardest part for me. Yeah there're some new people as I'll be moving to a new place soon but a few old ones will be around too, so its a bit relief I guess. How are your stories going?
My classes are okay, been a lot busy with projects lately though I'm on vacation now. Yeah it seems like a nice idea for resolution. Just hope I can keep it up. Now lets see I don't have any concrete plans, but if I'd have to make some vauge ones though they might be being a little more organised as I'm very very weak in that area right now or trying to be a little social.
Haha well there're so many of them. But usually my resolutions last only for one week or so untill my determination starts to loose. Blah so this year I don't wanna make any. What are yours?
There are a plethora of differences.

I've been here a while. Though I don't happen upon the boards often anymore. Nor do I stay online here much at all. Ask your questions, feel free to PM, tell me your troubles. I am a great listener.

You seem keen on the idea of differences. This is an intriguing trait. Keep that. As we the SA, SP, AvPD tend to think inwardly with a constant dread, we should look outwardly and include with ourselves the other or others. We shouldn't see differences as shocking to our routine but a challenge to overcome and with the right attitude prevail.
Something I could do without having to know how. Several have told me, 'a natural.'
Perhaps a tad over zealous. I am what I am because someone has to be me.

I agree with your claim. Differences entice interests. Whether negative or positive it is still interests.

Another thing to know about writing is a proper title to every work. Proper, not a good enough word. At title should exude a feeling of oddly-intriguing, giving nothing to perspective readers except a want to know more.
I've tried writing long stories, they drag on and on and I become bored with the work. I stick to short stories and even shorter stories.

I have taken no writing classes. I just write.

Easy can be interesting. Hard means learning. If there is no challenge, meh.
Honestly I am not an idea man. I write strictly by feeling. Why I write only when it is right. However, there are techniques of webbing ideas to plan out a story. If you're really interested there is a plethora of material waiting for you to find.

I also edit and edit and edit. Have to make right what we write, no?

Your stories, do they have to be long? Or can you write them because you can? Don't hold back because someone says its wrong. I have a rough story titled Counting Sheep. A darker tale than the obvious cute and fluffy white sheep hopping over fences. It is not long at all. Do I, should I care? Nope. I hope to publish it on my site some time.

Enjoy writing. Don't make it a hassle. If you don't feel like writing then don't.
I am not tied down to a type of writing. I write what I feel. To place rules and regulations on writing is dumbfounding.

Think about it. A poet must write certain ways to achieve a certain style of poem. A sonnet, haiku, whatever. I am not that. When I write there are no rules. My signature has a link to my writing if you wish to fancy a gander. Although I have not been up to writing much as of late.
Sensing that you rush and are hard on yourself. Slow down. Take it easy. Relax. Life ain't goin nowhere fast.

I enjoy writing. It only happens when the time is right.
A reason to talk with you, it remains shrouded in mystery.
Kidding. Just because. I do that. Venturing out, seeing who is who.
It's not just about grades. You could have the top grades and still not know how it's done. Grades matter, sure thing. But don't worry so much. Do it, get it done then get the know-how.

Grades don't matter if you can't use what ya learned.
