Carwin said over on the forum that the ref kept telling him he was gonna stop the fight, so instead of listening to his own better judgement, he kept pouring it on.
But the ref never stopped it, so Shane was gassed for the second round. He said he had zero energy and couldn't even feel his legs when he came out to start round 2.
