As my russian friend says " **** the day and the parade " :D

Where I live the parade rushes threw the streets and everyone runs to the pub. Never been a fan of getting wasted at lunchtime. Each to his own I guess :)

i havent drank in a year and i hate the parade but wer proud people and we like to celebrate it,even other countries love it more than we do,but they can never be us lol

i don't know if you folks in ireland know this, but EVERYONE in the u.s. claims to be irish, and what they really mean is there was an irish person somewhere in the family even if it was way back when in the 1800s. its strange!

Everyone does do this, I'd say I have the same situation to this as one of my grandma's are Irish but I only claim my direct heritage of Spanish, Mexican and German.

ya thats true alrite its strange tho cus the americans hated us wen we first started mass emigratin there.ya cant blame them tho we just had a bad case of the famine and the english were to busy to help lol .

saint patrick was welsh and the snakes well gone before he got here lol,still a great national day to celebrate
