Hey all! What has been the most effective solution you've tried to eliminate foot sweat? I'm a 26 y/o female and have been suffering from HH in my hands and feet all my life. I've usually dealt with the foot situation by always wearing socks and never open shoes - aside from birkinstocks which I've started wearing in the past year, but I... by unagi172

It gets unbearable and I have to turn it off. I have it on 15ma. Any tips on making this work finnaly or at least why the itching is happening? Also, my hands... by Matdood56

In the last year or so, I have had an increase in groin sweating. This is more prevalent when working, exercising and walking. Lately I have been using large womens ( Tena xtra )incontinence pads to combat this although they are not best suited to men. Does anyone have any better suggestions? Possibly something fragranced as well. I am... by JustG

Are there any recent experiences with traveling through customs with your machine? I plan to put it in my checked luggage. I am a little worried with so many new worries that someone may think it's some sort of machine for Bad. Any stories to share and some advice? Thanks! I assume most people here have had issues with shaking peoples hands with our gross, sweaty and clammy palms. I'm graduating this year and as of late I've been going and scheduling a bunch of interviews and at this point I don't even know if I get sweaty palms because I'm anxious or I'm anxious because of my sweaty palms. Any of you, have... by rmos

Already posted about this and didn't get any help but I need some advice on what to do. Iontophoresis works and my hands do get dry, but every Maitinence treatment I do, it seems to restart the 14 day cycle of getting dry again. by Matdood56

Hi guys, Just wanted to see if anyone tried to use phenibut for their HH. I remember a thread where Sprawling said it helped. I've read that it helps temporarily cure social anxiety where one would be able to talk to anyone with ease. However, I am able to talk to people easily, it's just that I suffer from palmar and plantar HH. So, was just... by decklover

Hi! I was just wondering if there is a dating website that allows you to meet other people with HH. I figured that it would take out a lot of the anxiety associated with meeting someone new :) by Cloud_Gazer

Excessive sweat is something that has been plaguing my high school social life. I was teased and made fun of because I was always sweating though my pores under my arms. Girls wouldn't ever give me chance because I was branded as the sweaty gross guy. It really made it difficult to be myself and get them to know that I actually was a pretty cool... by JessieJackson

I've used my ionto machine and every time I get my hands completely dry, I wait until my hands get a little moist and do a maitinence treatment. Problem is, after the maitinence treatment my hands come back sweating full force the next day and doesn't go away no matter what I do. I've tried doing multiple treatments in a row for maitinence and... by Matdood56

So I'm ready to purchase a new iontophoresis machine to replace my Drionic unit that I've used the past 5 years. I've been looking at the Hidrex PSP 1000 and the Idromed 5PC. Both are pulsed current. I'd like to hear peoples recommendations and experiences with their own iontophoresis units, regardless of manufacturer. Pros/cons of specific... by Soy Sauce

Are there any more updates for Miradry for the hands? I had emailed them about a month ago and never got a response. Is anyone currently involved in the clinical trials? Also, does anyone know if it will be covered under insurance? I don't understand why botox is covered, but not Miradry. by jay77

I was reading an article about the Sympathetic Nervous System Sympathetic Nervous System - My Excessive Sweating This was a positive response to excessive sweating problem. It's something I advocate. I find that telling or warning others about our hand sweat can actually reduce our anxiety about it. Here's what this person wrote: "First... by Sprawling

I have been using lantern batteries but saw that an ac adaptor could be used. I wanted to buy one and try but what do I need to watch out for? I wanna make sure I don't use or buy something that is maybe too strong or something. Any tips would be great. I think I can buy an ac adaptor that connects to alligator clips. Thanks! by Love777

I was wondering if people had recognised any definite signs that their iontophoresis treatments are working. I had a spell of 4-5 months last year when my treatments, combined with with Lyrinel XL gave me almost complete dryness at times. Unfortunately this effect waned and ever since I have had little success. I almost wish that this never... by JustG

Hi will be traveling overseas for over 3 weeks I currently use an at home device but because I will be staying with friends, I am thinking of investing in a machine like the iontoderma which is much more portable. But I am afraid to put in my check bag. Will customs freak out? Any experiences with this? I would also not like for my travel... by Love777

Hi guys, I just want to share how homemade iontophoresis worked to my severe hyperhydrosis, this is for all HH sufferers who don't have money to buy expensive ionto machines. Im using AC adapter for laptop with 18-24 volts with maximum of 4 amperes, i used lower volts for the first week until i used the max 24 volts. For the... by Ferarri

Hey everyone, first post here. So much on my mind but will try to be concise. 36 year old male, pretty athletic and active. Have usually been healthy but last 7-8 years had on and off anxiety/depression issues, nothing that needed medication however. Anyway, since teenage years had underarm sweating, more than most people, which would mainly... by sweatty
