So I'm getting ready to purchase a iontophoresis unit and I'm stuck on what I should get. The Fischer MD1-a is made in America and looks easy to use while the Idromed is made in Europe and does have an 8 week money back guarantee but I'm afraid it won't work in the U.S. What unit do you think is best? by surfsider

Hello everyone! Hyperhidrosis affects many of my family members and I think that it is a condintion that people are ignorant about. There is such little understanding and help on offer and such a stigma attatched that I want to do something. I am a final year student doing journalism at uni and we have to make a 15 minute documentary as part... by joanna

Just registered to share my experience. I suffered with axillary(underarm) hyperhidrosis for the past ten years. I fully understand what a terrible disease it is. I was at my wits end. I have tried every topical solution known to man. I always wore two t-shirts to hide my condition for an extra couple of hours until I soaked through both of... by currentkarma

Fischer owners, I need your help. Next time you use your machine, could you write down your mA level (the level on the meter) and the position of the knob 1-10 on your machine? As you know, lower mineral content of the water means less effectiveness and a higher level of the knob required to achieve the same mA level. My mineral content is... by krazyj

does anyone else experience tingling in the hands in the morning if you apply drysol or antipersperants. I do some mornings and some morning I don't, it's weird and this is the only time it tingles. it's like the sweat pores are opening but are getting blocked by the antipersperants so i guess it works somewhat. by surfsider

It seems like I've grown what my dermatologist had described as a fungus on the top of my finger tips. It doesn't necessarily look like fungus, but it's very dark and just looks...dead. I was told it's probably linked to my excessive sweating. I was wondering if anyone else has a similar skin problem? I just can't believe I have this to worry... by we_want_a_cure

I took Robinul back in June for about one week. I experimented (taking different amounts throughout the day) the entire week, and I believe I started to see a good amount of reduction in sweating with 4mg a day (2mg twice). However, I did have a real bad case of dry mouth from what I remember. The following weekend I came down with a minor case... by we_want_a_cure

I went to see a psychiatrist today hoping to get beta blockers prescribed for my anxiety induced facial sweating. I only develop facial sweating and blushing in situations that make me very nervous (speeches, presentations etc.). So I thought a beta blocker would be fine but the doctor insisted that I start on a SSRI which is an anti-depressant.... by hydroman123
