does anyone else experience tingling in the hands in the morning if you apply drysol or antipersperants. I do some mornings and some morning I don't, it's weird and this is the only time it tingles. it's like the sweat pores are opening but are getting blocked by the antipersperants so i guess it works somewhat. by surfsider

It seems like I've grown what my dermatologist had described as a fungus on the top of my finger tips. It doesn't necessarily look like fungus, but it's very dark and just looks...dead. I was told it's probably linked to my excessive sweating. I was wondering if anyone else has a similar skin problem? I just can't believe I have this to worry... by we_want_a_cure

I have been researching different methods to curing excessive sweating and I came across this site. It seems pretty promising and they have a money back guarantee. For all who are interested the site is: www.sweatcure.com by MakeItHappen

I took Robinul back in June for about one week. I experimented (taking different amounts throughout the day) the entire week, and I believe I started to see a good amount of reduction in sweating with 4mg a day (2mg twice). However, I did have a real bad case of dry mouth from what I remember. The following weekend I came down with a minor case... by we_want_a_cure

I went to see a psychiatrist today hoping to get beta blockers prescribed for my anxiety induced facial sweating. I only develop facial sweating and blushing in situations that make me very nervous (speeches, presentations etc.). So I thought a beta blocker would be fine but the doctor insisted that I start on a SSRI which is an anti-depressant.... by hydroman123

or felt so indifferent, that you'd think '**** it, it doesn't matter anymore', that for a moment of time you'd stop sweating? I'm guessing it has something to do with a lack of worrying/nervousness, since you wouldn't care, you wouldn't worry, either. This has happened to me a few times...but only briefly...it's hard to stay in that state of... by WastedPotential

Hi chaps, I received my 30x1mg Avert on Monday night. Well I can start by saying, it works. Terrifyingly well. But saying that, I'm still learning how to handle it best. So I got it Monday night and decided to give it a go (I thought I would test it first before school the next day). So I took the first two. Half an hour later, literally no... by Wooster

Hey, I'm planning on going to the doctors next week and explaining about my situation and that I've heard of these tablets and if any could be prescribed for me. Does anybody know if these are on the NHS? What did you say to the doctor at the appointment? Thanks. by bigchris

Hi there everyone, I am new here and I am extremely happy that this place exists! Anyway, I'm 24 and have sweated a lot most of my life and only recently took the initiative to do something about it. About two weeks ago I got a prescription for Robinul Forte (2mg) and, so far, the results have been mixed at best. I'm a big guy, not really fat... by wguern

Hello guys, so I read a former post that said someone had Vaser for armpit sweating which eliminates or kills the glands for sweaty armpits. I'm wondering why can't this be done for sweaty palms?? Also what is more economical or more successful iontophoresis or botox?? do any of you do both? by surfsider

Hi there, I've been away from this forum some time since I was hoping to get some results to share before posting again. I have some interesting lab results now, however no clear cut diagnosis yet much less a solution to the sweating. Still, it would be great if more people with HH have done this test/will do these tests to see how they... by Jezza

I finally got my iontophoresis treatments working properly. I did two treatments per day for three days on the trot and on the fourth day I was completely dry. Since then I ve been doing treatments every other day ( 3-4 per week) for the last three weeks or so and my hands have been crispy dry. My question is-am I overdoing it? Im worried... by hydroman123

I don't know about anyone else, but I love it when the cooler weather replaces the hot humid stuff. I can sort of "come back out" again because my HH is much more manageable during the cooler months. I am just beginning to hate summer...Problem is, summer is when everything happens...Weddings...Graduations...Reunions...Vacations...Makes me wonder... by Sweatin_Bullets
