How are you feeling?

Like my life is at stand still at the moment, while everyone else around me gets on with theirs.
It's the main reason I hate being physically disabled.

All that glitters is not gold...thats for DAMN sure..I learned that the hard way.

My mom didnt raise me to think this way but , through life experience , something I learned about women is: Where theres smoke theres fire....and after a while you get sick of going into the fire...I mean, unless she's worth getting burned for..

Neither did mine, but what you said is very true nonetheless.

Sometimes it's just not worth it, though. But that's how life goes.

Haha, I love that picture. I don't know what kind of music you listen to Graeme, but this freakin' solo, OMG:

It's my ringtone, actually :p

Cool! I'm not really a fan of In Flames. I mean, I've been aware of them since their debut album, I've just never listened to them, properly to fully appreciate them as band. But that's an awesome guitar solo, very melodic.

In terms of my musical tastes, it's all over the place if I were to go through the albums I own. Oh, don't get me start there... :eek:mg: But it's mainly instrumental stuff these days. Mostly ambient stuff, unless I'm really pissed them I'm blast the loudest, heaviest groove metal or thrash metal at full volume. :giggle: But I still like a lotta the 80s rock and metal I got into when I was 12, thanks to my older sister, and going through my mother's vinyl and tape collection.

And I haven't really stopped listen to Metallica since I first heard them. Though, James Hetfield's lyrics have help me through some tough times, growing up and lately. So, y'know... Everyone has that one singer, or band that means something to ya.

Yea, Metallica is that band for me too. I hope those guys realize just how their music can help someone through tough times. It certainly has for me and still does.

:crying: That excerpt really hit home, as I'm currently walking on eggshell with my family who behave exactly like this towards me.

Thank you for posting those article link.

Sometimes at night I dream I am living another life from the fearful one I am in now. And the weight of what I am currently going through is off my shoulders. I am at peace, a new fresh start.

^ I doubt that any women is worth getting burned for, really.
You need to look for a woman that has found a way to wrap a flame-retardant blanket around herself. :)
Not all women are indifferent towards the act of burning a man.

You know you live a sad life when you find yourself getting extremely excited about finding a car park in a packed full public car parking area. :blushing:

I am not sure whether that is a good thing or a bad thing actually.
You could think of it being a good thing that it does not take much to get you extremely excited. :giggle:

Yep, that is certainly a horrible feeling that has long lasting emotional stains.
I am often comforted by the saying "What goes around, comes around", or Karma.

When severely hurt by someone, I like to think that hopefully some day in their future life, they will experience the same level of hurt from someone. Then they will get a taste of what it feels like to be on the receiving end of it.

I just want something to make the aching sadness go away. It is a beautiful sunny day outside. Why can't I just go outside and enjoy a walk in the sunshine like a normal human being.
