I noticed that I pretty much only get acid reflux when I eat at home. That brings up a wide number of possible causes. It could be some ingredient my mum puts in almost everything. It could be something wrong with the stove (unlikely), the pans, the dishwasher/detergent, the microwave, etc.

I used to get acid reflux from coffee

I'm theorising that the co-pilot's motivation may have been a major grudge against the other crew members - maybe he felt victimised or bullied - it doesn't make much sense to take a whole plane out like that otherwise

Did you go an check the back door by yourself!? That was very brave of you, PerseverareJasmine. I would have woken my mother up and got her to come and check it with me, lol. :blushing:
Have you got a big dog? I wish I could have a big dog for protection.

He's not as big as some other dogs, but he does get protective sometimes if he thinks something might be wrong. My first instinct was actually wanting to wake my mom up, but to do that I'd have to pass the back door anyway to get to her room so I couldn't have done that.

ah f**k, this is getting increasingly ridiculous

You want to know how I got these scars?
I think I've met someone so much like me that I now understand why people think I'm frustrating to try to talk to.

It's strange when we sometimes meet someone who we have trouble talking/communicating with and it's.... frustrating!

It's definitely an eye opener as to how we ourselves may come across to others at times.

Not sure there's anything more infuriating than how people treat electronic messages on FB and business. It's just an easier way to ignore people without dealing with the social awkwardness of doing it in purpose.

Even with insurance I can't afford to get therapy for social anxiety, can't afford the copay

I am going to try the Social Anxiety Institute's online therapy sessions but I am afraid it won't work, and if it doesn't then there is basically no hope until I have a regular job at LEAST a year and a half from now. And I'd rather treat the SA before starting my professional life. I feel desperately hopeless.

When you've talked to someone online for a looong time and like them a lot wouldn't you want to video chat at some point? Even if you felt uncomfortable? It's always nerve-wracking talking to someone on cam for the first time, but you push past it and ideally become comfortable. You can't be friends with words on a screen forever.

I'm hurt, my friend is understandably anxious but he doesn't even seem to want to talk to me face to face. He said he will anyway but that's because I've nagged him and he is very reluctant. What's the point then? What's the point of any of it? I care for him too much to be content texting forever. **** that. If it's that then I just can't do it anymore  It's just me, after all. We've only known each other four years now...

If he's never done the on cam thing with you before then he still might harbor severe anxiety about it until he gets it over and out of the way. I would say to not take it personally that he didnt do it through his own willpower and that it ultimately wont matter if he gets on there and gets over it.

Blaming a victim for an evil act someone else has done to them is getting really old and is just the laziest way of thinking.

"Yeah, just change your attitude.
If you've had your leg bitten off by a shark, then hey, you should not have been a human full of tasty blood, swimming at the beach anyway"!

I just voted, having to confront the people who hand out how to vote card really fires up my anxiety. I walked right around.

I'm also feeling very uncomfortable at supermarkets, so yesterday I bought my first on line shopping order.

could he be catfishing you? :/ I just started watching the show.... There are so many people who use fake profiles and who are not who they say they are online. Have you seen the movie or show? The biggest red-flag is the inability to video chat and the excuses made for it. I am thinking you might potentially be dealing with this. How did you meet them?

"Robert Durst pees on Skittles"

Is anyone else following the HBO doc The Jinx?

Multimillionaire killer charged for urinating on candy at drugstore | New York Post

Why do I find this story more and more fascinating...The wealthiest family in NYC. How could there not be more to this story than meets the eye.....The poor guy was made to watch his own mother commit suicide by his father at age 10-How messed up are the super elite families???!!!!
Absolute money and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Who said that? No truer words.

They completely skipped over this in the doc. They were not allowed to talk about how messed up this family really was and is because they own New York. Thumbs way down HBO doc dude. You missed the real story.

Oh, no it definitely isn't that. We've shared pictures and videos of ourselves and we've been acquainted years now. Thanks though :p
