dear webmaster,

please put the timestamps back how they were. and please also set the code back to display who was the last user to post in a thread.

I always skip the Home page and go directly to New Posts. New Posts still displays the last poster.

where is that? please let me know so i can make that my default page now. i liked it being all on the front page... nothing extra to click. nevermind. found it.

this thread should be moved to the website support forum so he sees this.

What do you think is the purpose of this change? Anonymity? But why should it be better? Most users don´t want it anyway.. Besides even like this, it will not be really annonymous, only it´s more annoying.

Personally, I always found that the old ones were the incorrect time for me... But I really do not care, I barely looked at them anyway, only to determine whether the post was one I'd read and forgotten about or not. So it makes not a scrap of difference.

I like the concept, but I think it only really works in conjunction with the old timestamps. I'd prefer it if it was like; Posted on: 04-11-2012 (2 minutes ago).

Best of both ways.

I have no idea what this thread is talking about.

see right above where it says, "Roman Legion." it says, "1 Minute Ago," (although by the time you read this it will say something else... like 2 minutes ago, or whatever)... anyway, it used to say the exact time you made your post... like 12:35pm. now it says, "5 hours ago," instead. the webmaster changed the format of the timestamp on posts.

over the past couple of days the anonymous webmaster has taken it upon himself to make unnecessary changes to the website that us users don't like. he must be bored.

Ah, okay. It honestly doesn't bother me at all, I guess a precise time would be preferable, but I don't mind either way.

You probably don't have your time zone correctly set in your profile.

Interesting. Look at what I just noticed when I scrolled down on the reply page:

Why can't we just have this on the regular pages?:idontknow:

No Timestamps

While I answered "They aren't "timestamps" if they don't give a date and time" to appease need for technicality I would like to also note that it also sucks. It is way, way to vague for me. I like to know when things happened in relation to one another and if it was at night or in the day, where I was when it happened maybe. I just like my numbers and stats and knowing things, this is hindering things :bat:
