do you hate people

I have animosity for only a select few of people, but I find that being in the presence of one person for an extended amount of time to be taxing on my patience and I tend to grow more irritable around them. I like my space for a bit of time, and in general I don't trust. That being said, I will do what I can to get along with everyone I know and try to show the same respect that I would expect them to show me. My lack of opening up to people I meet and dismissive behavior at times tend to lead people to believe that I dislike or hate them. It's their choice to believe that, and if they choose to ask me about it I'm glad to "clear the air" if that's what they want.

For the most part yes I hate mostly everyone. Without the internet I would think I'm an alien because this is the only place I have found people I'd want to talk with. It's a lot harder to find like minded friends in real life.

Re: People suck

I don't hate people. I actually quite like them. I used to feel negativity towards them in my younger years but have come to accept that they are much different then I am in how they see things.

Most people are very self-centred. Collectively the human race is a destructive force. The world is continuing to descend into hell. Whatever good there is in humanity it is not enough to turn things around.

I would say that most organisms on the planet are self centered as we would classify it (propagate and survive are the basic tenets of all life) and, given the same mobility that humans benefit from thanks to our technology, other organisms can be just as destructive outside of their natural environments. Like rabbits introduced to Australia and becoming a veritable plague on the landscape there and driving many species to the brink of extinction, for example.

I tend to view humans as a generally good and positive force in the long term. There are downsides, of course, but even the power hungry ambition, greed, selfishness, and the like can be good things in the long run. Much of our modern technology comes from space exploration which, in turn, came from the rockets that first got our satellites and probes into space to begin with, whose original propulsion systems were based off the designs of rockets designed to kill people in London during World War 2 by Doctor Wehrner Von Braun, for example.

For all the bad we do, mankind is the only hope that life on planet earth has to survive inevitable destruction. Earth is a tomb. Always has been. Survival is predicated on things not changing but the universe is a chaotic hellhole so hoping the sun will always shine or that there isn't some great comet on a collision course with the planet as I type this is not realistic. No other species has broken its natural limitations quite like humanity nor gained the mastery over nature that we have. It has been dirty work but now that we stand on the cusp of expanding our dominion into the stars, it may very well pay off.

Haha. But I think we´ll run out of fresh air and water and polute the environment sooner than some asteroid crashes into us or before the sun stops shining.

I like people.

Not as in like like but as interesting animals to look at and very occasionally have fun with.

I can stand all sort of foibles but it depends on my tolerance level at that moment.

i dont honestly believe that you hate almost everyone , i only hate one person in this entire world and it takes a huge amount of energy , i have not spoken to this person in over thirteen years yet i think about them every day , i think you overestimate the definition of hate

I'm not particularly fond of them, no. I think it's more that I dont trust people. They're selfish & will walk all over you if you get in their way.

The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the
scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The
frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion
says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream,
the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of
paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "It is my nature."

why do we hate people for being people?
why do we expect them to be anything different than what they are?

This gets me wondering about what a species that is more developed than humans would write about us in an encyclopedia/what our 'nature' would be described as.

Ah, that would be a tough one. We're one way one moment and another at another. One moment, we're killing people for less-than-reasonable reasons and, at the next moment, we're all coming together to save our fellow man. We've trashed people different than us and saved them. We're confusing::p:!

Hahaha, exactly, they'd have a pretty hard job trying to work us out. They'd probably just give up and move on swiftly to writing about ants ::p:

I don't hate people.
I'm scared of them. I'm scared of getting close to them and them relying on me and I fail them. I pull away from everyone if I feel like they start to put too much stock in me.
I instead hate myself for not knowing how to get along with them or trust them.

I hate my reaction to others and how they have such influence over me. I wish I could be free from them.

When I log in to Facebook I sometimes feel like I genuinely hate people. But no, I like people for the most part. I think most people are kind hearted.

I don't hate many people, there have been a few I have met that I genuinely hate.
My main problem is that I am afraid they hate me :/

I admire the cunning the human race has when it applies to their ability to conceal the knives they will, without warning, plunge into your back.
