How are you feeling?

^ So I'm guessing the meetup went pretty well then?

It's great that you were all able to do that, even if it did get awkward at times. I would expect that during a first time meetup. Are you all up for it again?

Yeah, pretty good. I wish I had more confidence myself to push things forward and not stumble my words... I feel responsible for making everyone feel at ease...which I dont mind..but its hard to do when you are nervous yourself. I can understand why socially confident people are easier to be around... I guess I could be a lot worse...it will get easier tho.

Yes we will do another one hopefully before Christmas. NOT in a bar this time...somewhere quieter I think..

I'm glad the meet-up went well, Kiwi. Of course it'll be tough the first time but you will get better at it as you get to know the people. :)

Replaying in agonizing detail the last three hours. The thing with meeting up with people who are socially phobic...is that its difficult to keep things flowing without feeling awkward....but I am glad that people are brave enough to try and to give it a go. I met someone who has aspergers and OCD, very quiet.... but one of the most interesting and intelligent people I have met in a while. :)

Well done for ogranising something like that Shy Kiwi. It would be a huge step forward for the people who came.

::(: deflated. I was forced into a lose/lose position at work and I lost. now I have to wait and see what the consequences will be. I wish I felt like I had more control over my life, my stupid brain lets me down too much

I get into adversarial work situations like that. Makes me reluctant to get involved again.

You two contribute A LOT. This place has helped me a lot since I joined and you two are responsible of this improvement :)

I hope you feel better soon guys, and that you can keep it like that.

Cheers Mr Jones, so glad to hear you have improved since you have been on this forum. The positive energy seems to snowball at times.

^ Oh, I really don't like it when my friends get pushy when it comes to going somewhere. The more they push, the more I'm going to refuse. They don't do it often, but it's happened before. Glad you're watching out for yourself though. Drinking all Saturday night, getting no sleep, and then working? That sounds killer. I don't know anyone who could possibly even do that.

Hope you had fun though, despite your mood before. Did it cheer you up at all?
I have gone out a couple of times on a Saturday night, but I don't do it often because of the lack of sleep I get.

And yeah, I did cheer me up a little, but I think I would've rather stayed at home. I'm also not going out tonight, so I stuck to my guns there. :)

Well, that's what I like to think, at least ::p:

People like you really make this place as good as it is.

I'm feeling a little tired this morning sitting at my desk.

My cousin turned 30 yesterday so we had a get together with some friends and family. I stayed out a little later then I wanted. Just glad I'm not hung over though!

I'm doing good and also missing someone :$ but I'm listening music.
I'm going to cycle soon for an hour to enjoy the outside weather.

Shoot for the stars, if it feels right
Shoot for the moon, right up in the sky
let's dance between the stars and sparkle lights
Make the life turn around like a world without fright
let's make it right
where you belong... <3

Some people tried to bully me.... because of that i didn't go bowling today with my family.

.....And my hopes for the human race get dashed a bit more by the day::(:. I've never heard of anyone bullying a person for something as minor as that.

Well, that aside, did you make sure to tell them off? You don't have to do anything anyone tells you to do; if you didn't want to go, then that's no one else's business but yours. Please try to forget that it ever happened and replace those memories with some good ones, okay?

It's funny how Night Guy wants to stay out, but then Morning Guy hates it. Glad to hear you're not hungover, though...that would make your work day much more unbearable!

Just "had it out" with my neigbour, in a good way
In a good way? This honestly sounds like sex to me. ::eek::

I'm sorry you were bullied. Bullying is a terrible thing and shouldn't be tolerated. I hope you stood up for yourself, and I don't blame you for canceling plans you had.
