I watched the Boondock Saints last night, and I honestly don't get the hype over that movie. Really, what is so great about it? I found it completely boring.

However, I did find this stuff interesting (and delicious :D):

I guess it isn't very well known, but it tastes like straight iced tea! You can hardly taste the alcohol (but it has more alcohol than a Mike's at 5.8%). Really yummy stuff.

^ I was wondering what that stuff was. There's this billboard right outside of town, just as you're coming in that says "Open a can of weed!"

Edit: Looks like this

Brothers.

Seriously, the only people I have ever met who enjoyed that movie have been guys with brothers.

Freaking awkward.... I thought guys were typically cool with this stuff. I thought only girls acted this way.

I feel sad.

Seems like everything people tell me to do I go and do the exact opposite of. I'm told I should go on a walk outside, and I just pace my apartment for about an hour. I'm told to look forward to work and classes and whatnot, and I DON'T look forward to any of it.

God, I hate this sh*t...

Don't ever go outside again. And you should never do any work or study or anything else you enjoy ever again.

I'm very unmotivated lately.

Is this a recurring problem or has something occured that tore your motivation apart? To get your motivation back, mayhaps you should force yourself to do whatever you need to do or think about what's at stake if you don't. Those should light a fire under you.

Was just trying to make you do the opposite like you said.

I know about the motivation thing. I'm 2 weeks behind on my studies and have an exam in two weeks. It makes up 40% of my final grade and I have to pass it or I can't get on the post grad course I want to do.

Usually this isn't a problem for me. I've been unmotivated for a few days now, and I've been down in the dumps since last night. There are things I'm able to do, but I feel like I'm dragging myself through them. I feel like sleeping more than anything (even though I've been getting an adequate amount of sleep as it is).

Do you have any idea what may have brought this about? One day, maybe you should just take a day off from everything to confront this issue. Talk to someone about it or find a resolution to your problem so that you can move on.

Depression caused from an event that happened a few months ago. Having troubles making friends or talking to people. Feeling like I'm a waste of a human being. Things like that.

Okay, let's attack those points one at a time:
1. I'm not going to ask you to tell me what happened (you can if you want to), but address that problem. As I said, you need some sort of closure to this problem or it will eat you alive.
2. Have you joined a club on campus? Try that and also try approaching some of your classmates. For example, after you've finished a group assignment, talk to one of your group members and ask them to hang out. They'll most likely say yes since (from what I'm told) most college students are looking for friends and will jump at the opportunity to gain another, especially when you're new.
3. You're not worthless. You're doing something important with your life right now that's going to make you successful in the future. Right now you might not know what your "purpose" is, but you will come to learn what it is in the future. Just give it time and deal with the things that are in front of you right now; that kind of heavy stuff can wait till later.
