To all girls.

Ok, really this has nothing to do with social anxiety, other than the gut wrenching fear I have to do this.

Ok, well I spend all night talking to people online, and theres this one girl I talk to all the time, and we watch shows together (like at the same time).

Well last night, we were watching King of the Hill and Bills like "My names Bill Dauterive. I would be honored if I could have some of your hair for my collection. (Hank: Bill what are you doing?! Bill: Flirting.)

Alright well, today when I get back to town I HAVE to do that, and I wanted to know what to brace for.

So what would you do if somebody randomly came up to you and asked that??

Sorry in advance for posting this.

You're planning on asking this girl for some of her hair for your hair collection? You have a hair collection?

Moving on....I might decline such a request. Someone could easily plant evidence at a crime scene to frame you or use your hair in a voodoo spell. ::p:

No no no. I don't have a hair collection. Apparently Bill does, but i'm just saying the words, I don't really want the hair. And they could also put it on a doll with nail clippings, a picture of your face and.. ew.. Ya thinking of family guy now :D But like, would you hurt the dude, run, scream, stab him o.o. What am I looking at reaction wise?

LOL I wouldn't run, scream, stab or otherwise assault the guy. I can't promise that there isn't some easily frightened, irrational female out there who may do this. ::p: Seriously, I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. People have done much worse.

I'd like to answer but I'm not sure I understand:
You want to ask this to this girl online? And she saw the movie? so it would be some kind of inside joke and a beginning of flirting at the same time? That would not sound creepy to me.
Or you want to ask this to a random girl who didn't watch this movie with you? Depending on what you look like and how you express yourself, it might sounds very creepy.

I appologize. I'm not very good at wording. No, I want to walk up and abruptly ask a random stranger that has no idea who I am. Lol. That was not sarcastic either.

In that case you could try it for some SA exposure, although you'll probably get a hurtful response, but I wouldn't expect anything else out of it than that.

it would be cute of you to ask the girl you watched the show with, because she would get the joke... but any other girl would probably just be creeped out... you shouldn't take flirting lessons from bill dauterive... boomhauer, maybe? lol :)

I think you're meaning to do this more as a social exposure am I right?
I'd probably be creeped way out, say "no, sorry" and then try and walk away. If they act like they're going to call the cops or something just be completely honest about the fact that you're trying to overcome SA by purposely being socially unacceptable. I once ran from behind and asked a lady what she bought when she walked out of a store, and continued to question her about it and walk with her. She seemed really creeped out and paranoid me thought that she would call the cops or something (I think I was thinking unrealistically there) but I had to come clean and admit about SA. calmed her right down

then again in the end if you have to do that it kind of defeats the purpose but yes..

I think the idea is GREAT! What a place to get an idea bahaha.. Goodluck!!

^ For me, I think it would depend on how they presented it. If some guy just came up to me, and randomly said it with a smile, I'd laugh. Of course I'd be a bit nervous and a bit confused, but it's still funny. Obviously if they seemed serious about it, then I would be freaked out.

i would either say:

- i would be honourd if you dont.. please..

- thats a bad chat up line..

- what for? ... (if i wanted to continue the conversation)

.................

but i wouldnt be impress if a guy said that to me..

Somebody did that to me once and I remember I got really confused. I think I just awkwardly told them no and they just walked away.

Maybe they were a King of the Hill fan...
