How did you find this forum?

I was looking for information about avoidant personality disorder, and one of the links on Google led me to this site. I didn't start posting immediately, but spent like a month or two reading the different stories, many of them similar to mine, until I decided to register and started posting in june of this year.

I had came across it several times while looking up stuff on AvPD over the years. Never really had any desire to join until college came around and I was sitting in my dorm room alone with no friends. And here we are.

That is the same way I found this forum. To think, just 7months ago I was still denying that I had a personality disorder. I will never forget how my conclusion hit me with overwhelming clarity. After that I searched just about every day for more understanding. On about the 2-3 day I discovered this site.
