I would, except unfortunately I can't afford to travel very far. I've been to 3 meets on SAUK this year - all within 100 miles from where I stay though.

Its scary yes but If you want to get better than you have to accept it. Accept the fear and tolerate it. I'll almost guarantee that you've felt anxiety at its strongest already.

I think this is a great idea i would love to be able to meet people who actually understand what i deal with.

Anyway if a meet is organised i would definitely be interested in going as long as it aint anywhere to busy and crowded

Seems like the majority are from Galway. So that seems like the obvious meet up place.

I know it's really scary and it sucks, but there's no way to get better unless you face those things that you find scary. Which will be horrible at the time, but it's really the only way to get better :: And if you do come to a meet up there will be loads of people to help you through the anxiety that you're feeling, I'll be there for you

there is this place called Galway social space, don't know if anyone has heard of it. It is an alternative to cafes, pubs etc. you can get a space there, im not sure if you have to pay but i don't think it would be much if any. here the website anyway Galway Social Space - Home
