Who's your angel?

By "angel" I mean when you're around that person you don't have to think about what to say when you're around them and everything just comes naturally.

For instance, my best friend Cici, I've known her for 9 years and when we hang out we goof off and have fun and when I'm with her I feel like I don't have SA, but then when I'm back at school or with anyone else, I'm back to being my normal social phobic self. She's my only form of social interaction lol.

So I was wondering if anyone else has someone like that, be it a family member or a close friend :)

I only obsess about a girl every now and then (as I am right now) and that occupies 90% of my thoughts...she becomes my angel and my curse...I wish I can get over these obsessive crushes, but every time I see her name on my cellphone/facebook/email, my world narrows down to her and her alone (yes, yes...I know, very unhealthy).

I used to have an "anchor" guy...my best friend, but since I've left 3 years ago to go to school, we only rarely talk, and that's only on MSN. Heck of a friend though...

The only friends I trust that much aren't even human.. Talking to cats seems easier as they can't really say anything back.

Lol, this is a social phobia forum. I expect responses like "Never" to be the majority. And why am I not surprise?

My parents I suppose. I guess I should be more appreciative, I know that a lot of people don't have a good relationship with their parents.

There's no such person either. I used to feel free to my husband, but not really anymore. Don't know why.

No humans, really, but I'll mention my Nikon binoculars. I would mention a guitar, but things rarely seem to just flow naturally for me when I'm with one.

Sadly, no. I'm very close with my boyfriend and we can share pretty much everything with one another. Our personalities are very much alike, so that is comforting. However, he isn't as understanding of my anxiety as he used to be. For about the first year that I knew him, he was very supportive and understanding when I would have a panic attack. He'd do whatever he could to help and comfort me. Now, he just gets irritated like everyone else.

I don't have any friends that can be my angel, and my family is just...no.

No one really. And I've found people I've come to know usually turn out to be huge huge disappointments in the end, they never fail you in that way.

I don't have any single person that you would describe as an "Angel" but I do have several people scattered around the place that I consider to be like Angels to me - one on this site even. It's important to have these people in your life
