I'm really glad I saw this thread, as there's something sort of related that's been on my mind for a while.
My issue is this: about 6 months ago I read up on lucid dreaming, and I was curious (desperate) to experience it for myself. So I started doing all these weird things to try and trigger one, like waking myself up with an alarm every 2 hours or so, among other things. It took me about a week, but in the end I was successful,... now every so often, I'll have nights where I'll randomly wake up every 2 hours for no reason. I guess it's not that serious, just a little annoying.
Other than that, I don't really have a bad sleeping pattern as I work day shifts. But I stay up later than I should, and end up only getting 3 or 4 hours sometimes. Half the time I'm pretty good though, and sleep from 10-11pm til 6-7am.
