Well, isn't that a (possible) consequence of not being a native speaker? I studied the grammar and the vocabulary in a much more straightforward way than you. Many non-native English speakers perform better - at least when it comes to writing - than native speakers. You would quickly realize how much I suck at English, were you to listen to me speaking. And if you made an effort to look for subtle grammatical mistakes, I am certain you would find plenty.

Where does your mother live? I have only been to Cannes once, when I was younger. It was intolerably hot around the end of August.

Ah, procrastination can be really bad. And with the internet, there are countless ways of distraction readily available at one's desktop. Heh. Is the essay part of a homework assignment?

I woke up around 8 a.m. (It's 1 p.m. now) and have been skimming SPW and some textbooks since.

A profile pic? Well, I don't really want to put a picture of myself up, and there are no other pictures I might be willing to use. Frankly, I haven't thought about that yet. To whom do the eyes in your profile picture belong?

Hey. It probably means nothing. There was a time I used Latin and Ancient Greek words as nicknames. When I was looking for a new nickname, I couldn't find a suitable one, so I just invented one and suffixed "-us" to it.
