I generally like most modern stuff, but my favourite band by far are The Killers - for the simple reason that I like every song of theirs I've heard, though of course some more than others.
Tranquilize is awesome and Sawdust is out (here!) tomorrow 😀
There are two bands that I'd like to see live, if I ever went to see one (or both) - The Killers, and The Foo Fighters.
i love fall out boy, good charlotte, my chemical romance, christina aguilera, p!nk, rihanna, kelly clarkson and avril lavigne. 😀
so, as you can see, i heart ALL types of music. 😛
p.s. this is kinda embarrassing, but do you know the song at the end of "titanic"? i always cry whenever i hear that... 😳 my mum's a sulk, so i think i inherited it from her...
When I first met you, didnt realize
I cant forget you, for your suprize
You introduced me, to my mind
And left me wanting, you and your kind
I love you, oh you know it
My life was empty forever on a down
Until you took me, showed me around
My life is free now, my life is clear
I love you sweet leaf, though you cant hear
Come on now, try it out
Straight people dont know, what your about
They put you down and shut you out
You gave to me a new belief
And soon the world will love you sweet leaf
That's really funny. I'm listening to Frou Frou's Let Go-- right now. xD I just found that ironic.
Yeah.
I listen to classical, rock, and, what would one call Heap's music? I dunno, but I listen to that, too... Oh, and industrial-- I've heard Emilie Autumn's music called that and I listen to her stuff, so, yes, that too.
I like a lot of foreign music as well... Angela Chang [Chinese], Camille [French], Mika Nakashima [Japanese], A You Duo [Hmong], Celtic Woman [Irish/English], Alda Rizma [Indonesian], Shakira [Spanish], Mago de Oz [Spanish], Siti Nurhaliza [Malaysian], and oodles more.
Despite liking the language and such of Japan, I really don't like the J-Rock and most J-Pop. D; It's pretty much all the same, other than lyrics.
Rihanna's voice is amazing-- her accent is lovely. I listen to her music, even though I don't really like much else but her voice, sometimes. xD
Coldplay, Keane, Alanis Morrissette, Dave Mathews Band, Tori Amos, Moby, Christina Aguilera, Sarah Mclachlan, Dixie Chicks, U2, Eric Clapton, Evanescence, Wynona Judd and the Cruel Intentions Soundtrack
Those are some of my favorites. I have all the Coldplay CD's
lol expanding on my post a while back, recently got into trip hop downtempo stuff like massive attack, bonobo, ulrich schnauss, peace orchestra, kruder and dorfmeister, dZihan & kamien, portishead and st. germain (chilled nu jazz) 😀
I like all music but drum n bass is where its at for me...
I like all styles, i love old school jungle thru to cranky darkside techstep bizness
Also psychadelic trance is cool especially in the bush.
I like old music too 70's funk mostly but the thing about old music is it's never gonna be as good as it was in it's time. A harsh reality but true.
