Also, falling in love doesn´t have to equal to loosing your mind . Quite on the contrary, the relationship will be better and more lasting if you employ your brain in choosing as well as heart. Not having perceptible emotions doesn't mean that I am a serial killer. But, well, my ability to feel emotions is significantly less developed than it appears to be for others. Most people seem to be lead by their emotions, every single aspect of their existence heavily influenced by irrational thoughts.

I tend to look for girls who are like myself. I think too much diversity scares me.

Still I guess physically I like girls who are short to average height, are cute looking as (opposed to modelesque) and who don't wear too much makeup.

Personality-wise they need to have a similar sense of humour (irony, word play etc), be interested in things (have hobbies and take interest in those of others), like historical and cultural things, be shy and understand SA, and finally not be too clingy, but also not too distant.

Come on now. Let's not be judgmental. I don't think it's wrong to want to be with someone whom one is compatible with. I shouldn't have to choose someone who is stupid or humorless for the sake of not being picky. I don't think my preferences were really picky.

Dude, just try and chat up one of those girls at the library. You must have something in common with them. Who knows what interesting girls you might meet if you don't try. You don't have to necessarily walk right up to them and start talking. Maybe make a comment or ask a question about a book they may be reading, a project they may be working on...

Blondes are pretty. Especially Kinetic's girlfriend. I have to say though, that I prefer dark hair myself on both men and women but especially on men. That or natural red hair like that of some Irish. I really like platinum blonde hair even if it's not a natural occuring hair color.

I know exactly how you feel! I find that I become attracted to guys because of their personalities even if I would normally not find them physically attractive. Some confidence and a sense of humor goes a long way, doesn't it? I do have preferences with looks though. It's just that they're not absolutely necessary.

I've noticed that I tend to like guys who are around my age, my height (or a little taller), with dark hair (though I've liked guys with lighter hair colors as well), fair/pale skin, and thin but not lanky (I prefer the slightly athletic look). That's what I've noticed I'm physically attracted to, anyway. >.>

Regarding personality and other characteristics, I like a guy who actually uses his brain. I prefer he have something going for him (because I really don't like the thought of dating a bum). I like when a guy doesn't give me special treatment just because I'm a girl; I prefer to be treated equally. If we have things in common, then that's even better, because then I can actually converse with him and talk to him about something besides, 'How was your day?'

But I've kinda given up on actually doing all the looking around for a guy, mainly because I believe that looking will get me nowhere. I have to wait for the guy to come to me. That usually wields better results.

Looks: Dark hair, long hair (I love me some long hair), Brown or hazel eyes, shortish guys around 5'6, I like piercings, Tats are cool, Average and even chubbier guys. Glasses are nice, but not necessary. Facial hair is nice. I seem to find metal dudes very appealing, which stinks because I am not into metal much and I am never their type, ugh!

Personality: Mysterious, quiet, loners, dorky, odd or kooky, well-mannered, funny, not selfish, go out of their way for me, reliable, keeps their word.


This is just some general ideas, but I don't like to pinpoint a type. I think when we do that then we might miss out on some great people. I have been attracted to different types of people.
