Nothing's changed, apart having to generate your own income, meaning that you have to 'get on' with people who haven't grown up.

I've found that adults are less accepting of shyness than children are, in most cases. They often view shyness in an adult as "something that we should grow out of."

It was nice when I was younger, because I was a little boy, so I lived up to expectations of being a little boy, socially. Now, people use "little boy" as a common insult for me because I'm an adult, and they expect me to be socially normal, but I'm often not.

As for my career, I don't have one per se. I have no degree, and have no aspirations really, except to get my own apartment with around minimum wage jobs that I can handle. I guess my dream right now is finding a job that I'm comfortable at for a long period of time. I'm currently delivering flowers part time.

I would say sales/customer service. I do travel arrangements for my company's customers that are passing by or staying in the city. That and I assist the finance team with no brainer lesser work they have no time for but are time consuming to do.

I first had my real job in a tietiary institution. There was loads of frontdesk customer service, but somehow someway, I undertook the job as if I never had SA at all, I even got a couple people writing in to command on my good customer service. How I handled the job, I probably wouldn't be able to do it again.

I am a bum. A drain on society. I take take take and contribute nothing. Watching oprah and dr phil is the highlight of my day.

I used to work in IT...before that a postman, before that currency and money security...before that I worked in a bank.

Now I am a part time student, studying social science. I also volunteer helping the homeless. I dont work. I am thinking about becoming a social worker... maybe.

Oh and I worked in a childrens bookstore for a few years too...forgot about that. :)

Helping the homeless is a worthwhile thing to do.

Currently a student. I'll probably end up being a copywriter, editor or journalist of some sort.

yepyep. i'm not crazy about my supervisor (he really brings me down sometimes), but i definitely don't mind being around kitties all day and tending to them.
i was a corporate cubicle puppet for eleven years -- it wasn't as fun. :p

I'm envious! I'd love to work with kitties (I adore cats) but realistically speaking the pay is not enough. Have to be practical, I guess. *sigh*

I'm got a weirdly ironic job, I'm a tour guide for a cave. sometimes I get a bit nervous, but I can zone out, shame that's the only time I can. for now. yerk.

I think I need a more appropiate job...I could just live in a cave, instead of work in one. la la... =/
