What have you loved your whole life?

Only thing I can think of is video games. I'm not sure I "love" them, but it's the only thing I constantly liked since I was a kid.

Funny you say that. I have two cats who I love more then anything.

I had a cat for 6 years or so who ended up having Leukemia and had to be put down, I could barely make it more than a couple months before I really started missing having a cat around. I went to Petsmart when they had an adoption going on, I talked to one of the women, they opened up a cage for me to see one the cats, he came out, laid on this side and put his paws on my arm. The decision was made for me.

Animals! I spent a lot of my childhood in the garden hunting bugs. The isolation in no way helped my social development but I had fun!

And games.

Lol, I used hunt bugs too. I enjoyed building habitats for them in glasses for science fairs. I had many books about insects. There was a time I wanted to become an entomologist. I'll never forget the first time I caught a firefly.

I have always loved Sleeping.
It is the only time my mind can rest and not have to worry about anything. :)

Me too! Finally a mental break unless I have weird or bad dreams but even then it's better than most days awake.

Animals ... candy/sweets and nature..music.

I actually haven't changed that much at all which is kinda weird and kinda nice too. Now that I think about it...I am pretty much no different except I am older an a bit wiser, hopefully, but I still like all the same things for the most part. Is that normal??

I also did that, I was always collecting bugs in jars. My mom was not pleased though because I would bring them inside the house

I had a pond so I'd obsess over the amphibians too. I knew them all by names I gave them, and if I found a newt? That was like, the holy grail!

When I was kid, my family had a summer house that was the perfect place for bug hunts.
I remember the geckos that appeared in my room at night. I stayed in my bed just watching them go for any bug
that landed close to the light bulb.
I was amazed by these mini battles for survival going on my roof. Sometimes it felt like they were watching me and I stared at those little black eyes for a long time, wondering what they could be thinking. My mother always told not to kill them, so we didn't have to spend so much on insecticides! :)

That was cool, but not when you end up capturing a stinky bug.
Man, I remember that smell!

I've loved reading even before I knew how. I remember sitting down with books and trying to sound out words based on the letters. If I didn't know the sound of a letter I would bug the hell out of my older brother until he told me. I would look at comics and try to guess what the characters were saying based on how their mouths were drawn. I always read at a higher level in school and loved literature classes. The love of reading eventually evolved into a love of creative writing.
