Just a wee update for y'all (Now! Try no tae get to over-excited):
I need to invest in a better quality set o' headphones tae monitor the sound coming from ma voice recorder - so I can get the volume & mic levels right. Also, I need tae get a microphone stand (probably get yin off eBay) since I want tae just sit an' talk and no hold the microphone. Especially if I'm gonnae be rambling on for awhile...
Once I get an adjustable mic stand and headphones with good quality sound output then I'm good tae go! But if I dinnae get them this week, then I'll get them next week.

I'd only consider that if I knew what I was doing, or knew enough about audio recording.

Not my voice in the traditional sense, but a recording I just did in one take (just the solo was overdubbed). I'm still not comfortable with my singing voice--I don't give it enough power, as will be obvious when you listen. I keep it on a leash. It's like a mental block.
It's fine. I felt like testing out my new equipment anyway.

Okay, I've finally got round to posting ma voice. A word of warning, though: LISTEN WITH HEADPHONE AND DON'T EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING! Seriously! Just over 7 minutes, though. So I hope you won't be disappointed? Tell me what ya think anyway... and enjoy!
