Does anyone watch New Girl on Fox? I love that they put it right after Glee because Glee pisses me off so much, then I can watch Zooey Deschanel be adorkable and funny for half an hour and I forget why I was pissed in the first place. That is, until I get on Tumblr.

When you were in 10th grade, were you expecting your English teacher to actually teach you things, or just criticize things you write and tell you to read some crap? My high school English experience was mostly the latter. Maybe you Illinoisan folk have it different.

Eh, more of the latter. I was hoping to learn something, but I didn't. Well, I did learn that I'm not an actor. A friend and I had to reenact a part of Julius Caesar for the class. It was very embarrassing. I have a hard time speaking modern English in front of people. Elizabethan English? Forget it!

Wikipedia is for learning things. English classes (beyond the basics) are for... um.... something important, I'm sure. Probably just filling up space on school schedules, far as I can tell.

Everyday at work seems to drag on forever lately, and I'm left emotionally drained from dealing with coworkers all day. Relief has come in the form of 72 vacation hours I had yet to schedule which I sprinkled here and there throughout these last three months of the year. I just gotta survive today, then I have a 4 day weekend.

Don't you feel just great when people call you on the phone and start being difficult and you try to think of a polite way to stop conversation and then they tell you that it's stressing them out and they can't talk anymore?? yikes!! (Like I WANTED to discuss the heated topic into infinity oh no?! But I can't be just silent if someone has an opinion I vastly disagree with!!)
