Who was I talking to about starting a role playing thread ages ago?.. I think I'd like to give it a shot. Would anyone else like to have a go if I started one?

So we could all role play being each others girlfriends/boyfriends, so we get to experience a relationship - which many of us are lacking in real life? Hell yeah! :bigsmile:
Role playing in a forum with members who are lacking in different social skills - in varying degrees......... :thinking:
The pessimist in me doesn't think that would work out so well.
But I am happy to be proven wrong.

Well I didn't mean roleplaying in a sexual sense...
Somebody was saying they'd like to start a thread, a story where people could join in and become a character. I've never done it but have always wanted to give it a shot
That has been tried a few times on this site. It never worked out well. Most people want to make the story about themselves and their own ideas and either skim over or just ignore what people wrote before, resulting in a rambling jumble of contradictory nonsense which is no fun to read. Human nature--ain't it grand?

Your post makes me realise just how fortunate we all are in this forum, that we have other users in here that will read, and sometimes reply, to all of our boring and negative posts.well.. I guess I'll just sit here making boring, negative post's instead of trying something that could be fun.

Because I am sure one of the reasons we all continue to gravitate back to this forum, is due to the fact that in real life we have no one who we can express our boring and negative mental anguish to. :thumbup:

It might eventually end up a trainwreck, but it will be something different to read along the way.
