This is how I feel about classical music. Once you get used to the fact that it doesn't(usually) have a clearly defined beat and is (ususally) not broken down into neat little 3 minute songs it is actually very rewarding.
Especially when you need a break from this modern world.

Agreed.

Oh I agree. I have been soaking in "Auguries of Innocence" by William Blake for the last few days. I also very much enjoy Tennyson, too. They remind us of our humanity and how to reconnect with it. I love the beauty in the bleakness of their words so much.

Hie yer hence from me heath!
I am at my wits' end with you... Ah really am, like. :kickingmyself: It's just same ol' shite with you, innit? Excuses and idleness, as if that'll change. What's it gonnae take to make you realise that I am not the enemy here?

Nae bloody wonder ah lose the plot with you, sometimes. Yer such a infuriating, frustrating, lazy, manipulative wummin to live with. Some much for you being the "good" parent in my life... And the thing is, I ask so little of you and you still manage to let me down.

I'm blasting The White Stripes as loud as I can!

I know that Jack was the one who got all the attention but you know that Meg is a looker also.

When I watch television clips and movies from the 90's - even the late 90's - they look so OLD. They look the way 80's television looked to me as a kid in the 90's. It's so strange.

I'm constantly worried my brother is going to try and kill himself while I'm asleep. I've already stopped a suicide attempt from him before.

I don't talk to him anymore, because he's an *******. Our last interaction, he told me that I should kill myself. Kind of ironic how I'm here losing sleep having a heart attack every time I hear a subtle creak from the house.

He's moving in with our aunt in a week, honestly I can't wait.

It's the most selfish thing, because I actually value this single opportunity of a life we've been given. A suicide would destroy me and I'm sure my mom as well considering she lost her own mother at a young age to suicide.

Found out that my scanner doesn't really scan anything on the way back, so I can just take the book off and change the page while it goes back to the beginning. Saves me 4 seconds per page, which ends up saving me 20 minutes for a 300-page book (considering I can't scan two pages at once for most books).

Also I have to learn this program for data mining and machine learning for a unit in university. I already know R but since this unit assumes we don't know it, we have to use that program. The problem is that it's all about drag and drop, making it really slow compared to R. In R I can just type the name of the function I want and the options, in this program I have to spend 5 minutes looking for each thing.

I got chewed out in front of a lot of people.

I didn't do one of my assignments. It was worth a decent amount of marks but I don't instantly fail the paper for not doing it. At this stage in my education (third year of university) most course organizers don't care if you don't do stuff because it's your responsibility and it only effects you if you do poorly. But this guy found out I didn't do it and chewed me out in front of everyone. I don't even think he cared. I think it was just a display of authority. It sucked. It put me in the spotlight and now everyone thinks I'm a f*ck up.
