So someone complains about their plans not happening, then attempt to keep the plans going but can't even go with their own plans but would get upset if someone else didn't. SMH...

Randomly reliving embarrassing times in my life that no one else remembers except for me while feeling the exact same way I did when it happened.

I hate teachers who only put the materials up after the classes or just a minute before the class starts. The latter was what happened today, I was constantly checking since yesterday if anything had been uploaded, I even checked in class while waiting for the teacher, but it was only up a couple of minutes before he entered the classroom.

Survival/surv horror are my fav genre.

What are these ones coming out?

SOMA, Allison road, Routine, layers of fear....and The Hum:abductions

also I was looking forward to Shadow of the eternals (eternal darkness sequel) but idk if its still in development or if it got canceled...did you ever play eternal darkness?

I was just thinking today, how much Oculus Rift is going to intensify survival-horror games.

Oh hell yea, Oculus is going to make survival/horror insane!
No I haven't played any of these games you've listed. But I'm definitely going to check them out.

(Loved DayZ and The last of us by the way.)

I can understand not wanting to get involved with a single mother but to not understand that they can't just go to the bar all day because they have a child to take care of is something ignorant people get upset over.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is also getting a dedicated VR release next year.

SOMA in particular looks really interesting.

I think a lot of people tend to think of Victorian (and Renaissance) poetry as flowery and even boring - and I sometimes have held that opinion of some of it. We're just not used to the language (or maybe you just hate poetry).

Recently for the first time I've read Tennyson's "In Memoriam A.H.H." and it's become one of my favorites because it's such a realistic, accessible account of grief's ups and downs. I've never read a poem that caused me to actually wish the poet's deceased friend would return to him because the sorrow is almost tangible. Beautiful piece.

I initiated something at work because the generalized negativity was getting too heavy for me... I thought I'd be relieved but I'm more anxious about which course it's going to take now that I stepped inside the mess after trying so hard to stay in the peace zone

Maybe it was good for you to at least say something.

This is how I feel about classical music. Once you get used to the fact that it doesn't(usually) have a clearly defined beat and is (ususally) not broken down into neat little 3 minute songs it is actually very rewarding.
Especially when you need a break from this modern world.

Oh I agree. I have been soaking in "Auguries of Innocence" by William Blake for the last few days. I also very much enjoy Tennyson, too. They remind us of our humanity and how to reconnect with it. I love the beauty in the bleakness of their words so much.

If I were a listening/reading learner like apparently 90% of the world, I'm sure I could skip these daily headaches.

When are we getting classes for folks like me?

Agreed. But along with ignorant you forgot to mention stupid, selfish and self centered.

When I was younger I used to think 'yuck! I'm never going to listen to classical music!' lol..

But I realized some years ago it can be so magical. It can invoke emotions quite powerfully and yes, be very rewarding. I also enjoy the music of an orchestra used in a more modern way. Some of my favorites are
Metallica S&M, gaming sound tracks and movie sound tracks. It doesn't always have to be Beethoven or something like that.

Listening to music such as this has also given me a new appreciation for the instruments played and I now love the violin and piano :)
