I was told to listen out for the doorbell and to answer the door.
Usually quite simple, just answer, open, take package, sign for it, say goodbye.
What might have been helpful was if I'd been told the guy was coming to collect a package that needed returning, and what the damn thing was.
How am I meant to know what to give to him?
So now I have to tell my uncle that I didn't do what he asked me to, and ask him if he can order me something off amazon with money I got from somewhere I can't tell him about, which I was, pardon the term, crapping myself about already, now it's just another obstacle. Grr
^On the bright side, at least now I can be extremely English and make a double-entendre.
The delivery man came knocking, and i was only in my underwear, so I had to put a dressing gown on, and then answered the door. Then he asked for something, so I put my long, hard package in his hands. He held it for a while, inspecting it, and when he was done he gave it back to me and left.
long-hard package? there is just no stopping you pebbles!!
Oh no, classic moment for me 15 minutes ago of 'awkwardness that is awkward only from the anxiety'. Oh noooo. Wish people wouldn't write things on my FB wall sometimes.

That was the most exciting thing I did all day.
😉
When I read your post, I considered posting about a man knocking on your door to get hold of your package, but I didn't want to beat you to the punch. 🙂
