You're braver then me iamthenra, I'd never get that close to a bear or moose for that matter. I heard a moose is more likely to attack a person then a bear too.
Just don't get between the mama and her babies!

Hippie, allot of my photo's were from my camcorder... Really old school stuff, and it lacks quality. Most of the film I have is from my camcorder and not from a decent camera... But the shots were amazing!
For others who don't know about Alaska. The West side of Denali where most pictures were taken from is out in the middle of nowhere, and the only way in or out is by bush plane. I flew into McGrath Alaska and jumped into a 6 seater cessna airplane and flew about 2 hours towards Denali, and then jumped into a smaller plane a Piper Super Cub and flew about 20 minutes to get to camp... Blueberries where everywhere, which is all the "red" plants you see in the photo's. In the fall blueberry leaves change red. They were very tart but plentiful. We saw allot of moose and caribou, and in fact those three grizzly's where the only bears we saw for about 10 days out in the bush... It was allot of fun! I would love to go back and do it all over again.
