My favorite music is the 80's.

U2, their point of view and songs before their went more "commercial"
Simple Minds, great song, great instrumentals.
Talk Talk, very recognizable lyrics, especially "It's my Life" and "Living in another World", and great schizo vocals & instruments.

Own the box-set of BoB. Read the book too. Both good. I enjoyed The Pacific but found BoB ... you got to know the characters more. Something was lacking in Pacific.

Band of Brothers is a great series, I haven't seen The Pacific yet. Somehow for a while with my anxiety it became all too real and I couldn't stomach watching anything about war.
Music wise... feeling a bit of the Incubus.. yeah, its just a phase:

I went to see nickelback few years ago and they were the support band thats how I got to know them, and their songs are epic =)
