Hey Beautiful peeps, I know that this is kind of just been done recently with the best album of 2013 thread, but I was just listening to this tune and thought wow I so realate to this, and when someone makes me feelworthless I would love to scream in they're face the corus in this tune!

I take it you're a Biffy fan then?? I saw them live the rocked!! But could'nt understand why Simon had 4 identical fender starts all in different colors, he changed guitars for every song!!! haha

Aye. Well, they're Scottish (and am Scottish), go figure. :bigsmile: But Biffy Clyro are brilliant live - definitely one o' the best live bands ah've ever seen.

Oh! And, the reason for Simon Neil's 4 different coloured, identical Fender Stratocaster guitars - they're all tuned differently, depending on what song they're playing. One Fender guitar tuned EADGBe standard, another in E or D flat, another in Drop D tuning, another a whole note down from standard tuning - DGCFAD or CGCFAD.

^ Ah've played guitar fur a few years, so know trivial shite like, that. :giggle:

Oh, ah've got quite a few guitars:

  • Yamaha ERG121 *(The 1st guitar ah ever bought)
  • Fender Jazzmaster
  • Westfield Les Paul Copy
  • Fender Squier Stratocaster
  • Coban Electro-Acoustic

Oh! And ah've also got a mandolin, too. Used to have a Flying-V electric guitar, I forget the make or model. But I didnae huv much use for it, since they're quite awkward things to play. That said, Flying-V guitars look cool as f**k! :bigsmile:

So, how long ya been playin' guitar for, greggy? I've been playin' guitar since ah was 14 years old.

ah cool man, I'm actually a luthier and in the middle of making a custom strat for a customer. I'm a big Nuno bettencourt and extreme fan, and now they are back together amzingly haha! I've actually got the first production Washburn N4 ever made.

I've been playing since about the same age as you so about 20 years, You in a band? Got any videos of you playing? I'm gonna look to see if I've got any

Ah got ma Fender Squier Strat custom shopped, got a locking tremolo system fitted, and Klusion tuning heads.

Not a huge of Extreme. Got their Pornograffti album, but that's all. Though, ah do like Nuno Bettencourt's playin' style and tone.

Nope, ah get nervous when playin' in front of others. Used to jam with a few classmates during music lessons when I was at high school, though. Make up ma own lil' riffs & chord progressions. Or jam to some Black Sabbath or stuff like that, lie and tell the teacher it was the song we'd pick to learn for that lesson. :ironicsmile:

Also am to nervous and critical of ma own playin' to upload any videos or audio of me playin'. Because ah don't think am that great. Ah can play but not very well. Or mibbe that me n' ma self-confidence issues? :idontknow:
