Just standing up a lot makes my right ankle hurt. I was born with a club foot, which was straightened out decades ago. Unfortunately, the bone structure in my ankle is such that standing normally basically shoves my shin bone on top of my foot bone. I'm not a doctor, and I'm too lazy to look up the proper names for the bones, so my descriptions will have to do.
I can't tell you how many times I've fantasized about a bottle of vodka, an X-acto knife, a hammer, and a chisel. But like I said, I'm not a doctor. So the fantasy will remain one.
EDIT: I probably mentioned my club foot in this thread already, but I don't feel like combing through 30 pages to double check. My apologies if I've repeated myself, which I probably have.
