Not in the near future Loyal, but perhaps maybe one day. I'd love to get a Tarantula, but not the boring Australian ones, I'd like a South American one.. But you cant get them here in Australia

A pet snake I can understand...........but a Turantula!!??

Can I ask you why you would like to have a Turantula? My mind is boggling trying to figure what you find appealing about them....

I'm not really sure Blue. I've always liked unusual pets.

I just thought there may have been a specific reason.


I wish I could have a pet, but the last 2 places I have rented have had a policy of no pets.
It is actually getting quite rare to find a rental place that will allow pets now.

If I could get a pet it would either be a retriever or a boxer.

Such a stupid policy that makes it so hard on people with pets and really impacts the number of abandoned animals in rescues and pounds. They should make a policy of pets allowed but you have to pay an additional fee to cover cleaning if they are the type to leave a smell, and to pay for any damages (both of which you essentially have to do anyway if you damage anything or something stinks!). Frankly I'd rather a tenant with pets over kids, kids are destructive as all hell

I'm not sure if I ever posted my girl here. She's my rambunctious, lively, spoiled girl that is currently the size of a small child and has the attitude of one as well, but she is also my protector and got her as such. (I live in a rural area with lots of wildlife around, but also makes an excellent guard dog.)

Is it weirder when I bark back at the neighbor dog when it barks at me (which is whenever I make a slightly noise), or that I have a desire to woof at the picture of dogs in this thread? Not like a mean woof, but more of a "woof woof, how are you today?" kind of woof.
