Hahaha, wow I can't stop laughing. I really hope he really did that.

I watched the end of the speech to see if maybe he went out like that. This is a totally different topic to discuss, but he was saying "god bless America" what happened to the separation of church and state?

In your face, conspiracy theorists!

The problem is that the manner in which this has been handled will play straight into the conspiracy theorists hands.

After his whereabouts being supposedly unknown for nearly a decade, he's found, killed (rather than being brought to justice) and then his body is quickly disposed of.

I think we can all see exactly the sort of "theories" that are now going to be flying around for the next ten years.

It's a bit weird how quickly they got rid of his body. I really think people will need to see some kind of evidence of his death.

Yes, exactly what Rembrandt, nightcrawler, and leave are saying. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but like many I AM wary of the government and wouldn't put it past them to tell us lies for whatever reasons they have. The Osama bin Laden things seems suspicious to me. Like Rembrandt said, they just killed him instead of showing that they had him or something first. I don't know. Seems fishy, but whatever, it's not like we can do anything about it. We just have to take them at their word, as always :/

I cant say weather I really think hes dead either.
And to the post that says at least US got their revenge, I don't belive there was anything to get revenge from him for. I dont think 9/11 was done by OBL.

I think it's most likely he is dead, if for no other reason than the political fallout would be beyond catastrophic if he turned up alive later.

This won't likely do much to stop terrorism, but at least the family and friends of the victims have some sense of closure now.

Its incredible how much of a popularity contest american politics have become. But anyway, since Obama got so much flak from his work on the financial trouble (a republican would have done the same and gotten just as unpopular on it, people should blame Bush tbh. ) Its only fair he gets a boost of popularity :p

There is no legitimate government in the USA. Both parties have the same obectives, though different flavors. The last true president that the USA had was JFK, and what was the last thing that he did? Speak out against the threat of secret societies. He would not toe the line and got axed. Likewise Lincoln. I have interesting resources if you would like to read it. Another thing that might interest you is Bohemian Grove.

Very exciting.

Do you ever worry about news?

How do you know anything is true?

Is there a war?

What 'news' gets to which audience? Who was Bin Laden? Just a crappy video and loads of quotes. There's no corpse here, on my carpet. Who do you trust?

BBC, CNN, ITV, USA Today... they tell you want they want you to think. When was the Japanese Tsunami? Did we know about that on the very day? Were there BBC / Telegraph reporters sitting there in Japan for that to happen, for the last 30 years? Did we find out about that a month later, when some live Japanese sounded the alarm on the day? Then the reporters had to wake up at 5am, or couldn't be assed to get over there? All we ever see is a bit of video and people's lips moving.

Where's Princess Diana? Hiding away somewhere in Dubai, on a decent income? How do you know? Was the crash staged, due to her affair?
Did you meet her and have a good chat? 20 years ago?

Nothing's real. It's what we're told to believe. I know that if I was on the Afghan frontline, everything would be the inverse of the news.

Corruption. Who are the public? Insignificant consumers.

Are you referring to victims of 9/11 or of other thing the taliban did in their own country?
I personally dont believe OBL had anything to do with 9/11.

I can't take pleasure out of a man's death. No matter his crime, death should not be increased. Just my opinion.

Anyone who knows if he fought back like Uday and Qusai Hussein or if he surrendered like Che Guevara? If he actually surrendered, then it would be cowardly to kill him--but if he fought back, then they really didn't have much of a choice.

Well, he had a reasonably interesting name. Possibly difficult to find on Facebook unless you knew him personally. Who was it, anyway? Made up. What did he do? Real name? Richard Smith

Both, really. I won't argue conspiracy theories with you, but I think we can agree that Bin Laden wasn't doing good things for anyone.

I'm seeing a great deal of celebrations, chanting, and nationalism on the news. It's bloodthirsty. Thirst for blood tends to lead to more war, and that's a bad thing. I really think that anyone overjoyed about this should keep in mind how many people--U.S. and otherwise--have been killed to get to this point and will continue to be killed.
