Ok...here's the latest... after going throught the last couple months without any great progress on the scales....happy to say that I am still losing weight...& I was 251 this morning.....I havent changed much of anything except about an hour less exercise each week day than I had been doing....I get a tick more than 2 hours every weekday now..of course it takes me more time than that cause I take breaks between stuff...but diet is still on track & basicly the same as before...feeling great as u can probably imagine.....had check up at doctors office a month or so ago...she hadent seen me since before i started this process....needless to say she was amazed at what I have done....she kept saying "You just dont ever see anything like this....I cant believe it"...the other doctors looked at me on my way out...I knew they had heard the news because they all were looking & smiling....but anyway.... 250 is right around the corner for me....I cant wait to see it....actualy 249 will be so cool too.

:D

November 28th 2008 -

Was down to 245 this afternoon...

been long month or two of not much weight loss on the scales...but Im sure its a result of not having a bunch yet to lose fat wise...& gained muscle mass...realisticly I estimate that I have 50 pounds of extra skin now hangin off me that will need to be removed at some point if i ever want to get close to the suggested weight of someone being 5 10-1/2....of course money will be the problem as its considerd a cosmetic operation in nature barring a doctor recomendation with proof that it needs to be done for the health & well being of the patient...which I may infact qualify for at some point due to problems that may develop with the said extra skin.

Anyway...I will give another update later on some time when i have a lower number to report.

I'm amazed at how much weight you've lost..WOW! That's great! I agree with you that exercise is good both mentally and physically..I find that I'm much more relaxed and calm when I've been for a run. It helps me concentrate better and builds up my stamina.

I'm somewhat dubious, though, about gastric surgery..how safe is it? Can't you die from it and shouldn't you only get it if your life is in immediate danger? The price is ridiculous..

Keep the good work going.. :)

2Crowded you are an inspiration to many. I am extremely happy for you. It takes a lot of mental power to workout as hard as you do. You are proving to others that anything is possible.

I'm a firm believer that working out can help out SA. I started working out 2 months ago and I feel my confidence increase and my social anxiety decrease!

I look forward to reading your progress and stuff. It builds up my confidence also!

Hey congrats. I wish I had that much dedication :) Currently I'm still about 40 to 50 lbs overweight and have pretty much lost all willpower to continue excercising like I used to (I lost about 80 lbs last year).

For some reason I haven't gained any weight back but I'm still kinda worried that eventually I will. Anyway, I've also been wondering how much that surgery to remove excess skin would cost me as if I ever reach my ideal weight I'll have lost about 125lbs from what I used to weigh.

skin removel can cost anywhere from 30,000 - 55,000 depending.

Ha Ha Ha. The pounds are not all you are losing. Loser virgin never had a girlfriend. You won't keep your friend either. She will be mine by the end of today.

Grrr. You really are a nasty piece of work. Stop bothering us. Stop sending me and 2crowded vile messages. I am not interested in talking to you, messaging you or sending you pictures. I don't know who you are but take your bitter twistedness somewhere else. I will not be answering any of your messages so go play your nasty game somewhere else.

I decided I'd like to show my before & after photo's to give a better idea what going from 425 to 245 looks like..keeping in mind that the recent photo's are already atleast 6 weeks old or more.

The before pics are as close to the moment before I began my transformation as i have been able to find photos for.... It was me then..so I figured I would go ahead & show what i used to look like just a year & a half ago roughly....& then compare a similar photo taken fairly recent in close to the same positions...dang i was huge :)

Before 1

After 1

Before 2

After 2

So thats roughly where I am at shape wise so far... atleast close enough.

WOW! Congrats 2crowded, you look awesome!

I couldn't live without exercise either. If i don't work out I get depressed, get insomnia, get really panicky...feel really bad generally!

Ok..been long time since i updated my progress here.....basicly I have not gotten on the scales to weigh myself since last time I posted here.... I have been ignoring that & have been concentrating on continuing to push ahead with my same eating & exercising routines..minus a number of meals out with miss_amy of course last month...but my exercise & diet is basicly the same as it was otherwise, I get between 2.2 & 2.5 hours in every week day...have now added an elliptical machine into the mix as well..... I am doing just fine i think...I am guessing I am about the same as I was last time weight wise..but I know I have definately gained muscle mass since then too....

Still maintaining my new Lifestyle & plan to forever..been bout 22 months now since I was 425 pounds
