Well it seems she is already in a relationship, and for a few months now. I feel like such an idiot. I always knew this would never, ever happen. now I'm dreading running into him while I am there because I'll be a nervous idiot. all be like" oh, hey" and they'll be kissing and talking to eachother and I'll be there watching a movie or aomthing and it'll just be really bad

I think it happens more often than people think,I knew a guy who slept with his cousin ,it was a mess their family eventually tried to keep them separated,my 2nd cousins are really,really beautiful,all of them male and female(why cant I be like them,lol),I am not but it would not be so surprising if someone would be attracted to them,also you would spend a lot of time with them.

Hey Frank. Well, I can understand the frustration, maybe you'll meet someone fun and new though?

If they're polite, they'll stay away from each other in presence of 'company', or you could always try to joke about it - 'hey, kids in the house' (and cover your eyes, to show you're bothered, and maybe look through your hands, but in a joking way?) or kinda teasingly say 'get a room' (maybe with exaggerated annoyed voice or gestures) or something? Or just do the 'dorky on purpose' thing and sit in between them? (I can imagine Jake doing something like that lol) 'Hey, what's up?' (only if you can pull it off in a funny way!!) Are there other relatives or friends you could hang out with? (possibly single ones?)

I've known people who've had sex with their cousins before, I almost did lol She was my second cousin and we didn't meet until we were teenagers.

I think it is pretty natural to at least have some thoughts about your cousin or other close relatives in an erotic manner. They may have similar genes as you, and anybody feels attracted by those that are very much similar to themselves. Also imagine Adam and Eve's offspring, they would have had no choice but to sleep with their siblings.

That's not normal here in the states Either that or no one ever talks about it.

...with my cousin. I've never felt this way about anybody. She makes me feel right. I'm never wierd around her or anything. I think it's because she really gets me and she can see through all my bull****. I've known that I like her for about 6 months now. We're both the same age, I've know her since I was 9.

I'm going to be seeing her over christmas break. I'm not really sure what I should do.

If it makes you feel any better, my paternal grandparents were first cousins.
