How many has the money and dares to fly to a chosen place thouhg? Not me. I could never go anywhere on my own. I can't take care of myself. Know too little in life that I should know at age 22.

I'd probably go just to meet some people with the same problems. I'm very new to this forum and the idea of others with SA. It would be interesting to talk to someone else who has it.

Although, just as someone else said, I'd very likely have a few shots before going. ::

if you feel uncomfortable, you can stay by yourself in a corner. Most of us would feel uncomfortable, so we would all stay by ourselves in a corner. Now, do you see what the problem is? Exactly. In order of us to stay alone in a corner, we would need a lot of corners. If there were only four, as usual, the fifth person who felt uncomfortable would have no free corners to choose. We would need to party in a room with at least 50 corners.

Where do you find such a room? That's why we can't really get together.

lol, a Social Phobia party would be like those giant gravity machines in fairs, everyone would be stuck to the walls and no matter how much you try to resist your social anxiety, the force of gravity is too great and you're splattered against the wall while the room is spinning and the lights are flashing and music is playing. And when you end up leaving you feel dizzy and lightheaded but at the same time like some great burden has been lifted and you can finally relax. lol
