how reclusive are you?
i can sometimes go for days without seeing another person
the phone and door buzzer ring constantly but i just ignore it.

sometimes i prefer it this way because of my anxiety and my lack of trust in most people

sometimes i feel like getting geared up with my tent and stuff and just taking off like that book/movie INTO THE WILD

please let me know your views

Oh man I would love to live off of the land and go and do that. Just fighting for survival evreyday somewhere crazy would be the ideal life for me. I wouldn't need anyone else but myself and just surviving and having that experience would make life worth it.

Instead I'm working full time at a lame job and have $40,000 in student loans I have to re-pay. This society is just lame. I would do anything to go live in one of the nastier climates in the Pacific Northwest where I live and just live in a tent and hunt and all of that. Maybe some day I will...

I am recluse!lol Well i go to a clay pigeon shooting club on Saturdays but apart form that really i have no one but my parents for company. Going to work was my motivation to leave the house but now i'm unemployed.

I go out of my way to avoid people of all sorts. I've been avoiding my gaming group of friends for about 3 weeks now. Another of my friends used to periodically come over to work on writing songs, but now that my brother is back he only comes over to see my brother. So that kind of pisses me off.

Whenever I go outside to walk/run the dog or do yard work I completely ignore my neighbors. Now that it's getting warmer there's usually someone out on one side of my yard. We've never been too friendly with those people, so I don't feel guilty about just ignoring them.

I'll still go out and be courteous with cashiers and store clerks, but I don't get too involved with them. But I usually only go out if Mom wants or needs to go out somewhere. Mostly because I never need or want to do anything and figure I shouldn't just hide at home all the time.

So I guess I'm not too bad of a person. Right?............. Right? ;)

edit: Oh, and I never answer the phone or the door if it can possibly be helped.

If it weren´t for the fact that I pretty much have to go out sometimes, I´d probably spend really long periods of time without going out since I´m usually trying to avoid people, but I´m pretty much screwed due to the fact that my brother is f***king
outgoing and is always bringing people, which annoys me to no end since I despise
gatherings and stuff like that >_>.

Lately, I wouldn't say I'm "reclusive," because I've been going out a lot.

But I'd like to be.

If I could actually get the house to myself for once. -.-

I'm extremely reclusive. The only time i go out is to go shopping and then it's only if one of the kids comes with me. I never go anywhere on my own and have successfully managed to alienate all my friends except one who comes over once a week. To be honest i'd rather not see her either! My illness is so bad that i won't even see a doctor as I'm too scared to phone/call in to make an appointment.

I have no real social activites, but I do go out several times a week to carry out errands and work. That said I too have occasionally wondered what if I just kept on walking and didn't stop.

If I didn't have anyone to come with me i'd also shop online. Though i must say the thought of having to answer the door to delivery guy absolutely terrifies me.

I go out every Saturday to play football, for some reason I feel more comfortable around the group I play with, but we never socialize outside of our football games.

Aside from that, I leave the house maybe once every 2 weeks, sometimes one or two times more with the 2 or 3 'friends' I have, although I don't really trust any of them so I can often go ages without seeing/speaking to anyone.

I go out any opportunity I get. I go out maybe only twice a week, but wanna push myself more. Of course there is times I dont go anywhere.

I love it when my parents leave the house for an extended period of time like on vacation or something and leave it all to me. Happened last summer for a week and I pretty much laid around the house and drank beers and took vicadins and played xbox and watched movies all day. Ah that was the best week of that summer for sure.
