How much time do you spend on the internet?

I spend so much time on the internet. I even delay going to bed to be on the internet. I have such a weak social life that I have built a presence across 5 different forums... this will be my 6th soon enough.

I'd say I spend 7-8 hours a day on the internet. I'm always on the internet when I'm not in class or in transit.

I spend literally, no word of a lie, at least 12 to 16 hours a day online. 50% of that is due to my job, the rest is my world of warcrack addiction :D luckily my beloved is just as bad as i am...so we do it together, LOL.

Usually between 5 - 8 hours a day. The past two weeks though it has gone down to about 1 - 2 hours (not including my online math course). I'll be back up to my usual time soon, I'm sure. ::p:

A lot. Lucky I have a job and some extracurricular activities otherwise it'd be a whole lot more.

About two hours in the evening, and about 30 minutes during the day.

News, email, comics, games, 3 forums.

If I'm at home, I'm probably on the internet.
It's not ideal but it feels somewhat social, chatting to friends on fb, posting on here, discovering great new music, learning about new things, writing my blog, doing work for my charity etc... must be better than watching t.v all the time or whatever else there is to do at home, at least.

Internet isn't as badly stigmatised anymore I don't think. Mind you, I think in general we all spend too much time on it. I think it's only a problem if being on the internet stops you from socialising in the real world... as it has for me on a couple of occasions.

ahhh escapism. feeling non anxious feels sooo good. too many people take it for granted, and for those who don't, it can be just as effective as an addictive drug...
like a drug, to effectivly get off it, you need to slowly reduce your exposure, have help, but most of all have the will power to want to help yourself.

personaly I try to find a balance between my social responsibility and obligations and my personal requirements.
its all quid pro quo and compromise. which is what sharing our existence should be about. no one should endure at the expense of another. its sad the way people will screw over others to better themselves.

sorry, rambling...
