How are you feeling?

I've just heard that one of my best friends has suffered a terrible family bereavement. I want to attend the funeral but it's on the other side of the country and I just don't have the money ::(: I feel so guilty and wish there was more I could do for her. Will buy a card and present to send. I hope that will make up for it a bit? ::(:

This is just another reminder to me that we should always make the most of every thing we already have and think less about what we want. Because nothing lasts forever, especially not the things we take for granted whilst we preoccupy ourselves thinking about how much it sucks that we don't have everything exactly the way we want it. Less Want, More Appreciation.

Poor, poor girl ::(:

I don't think you send presents to funerals or the bereaved just a card. Does she have freinds or family you could stay with?

In a bit of a negative mood, and afraid that I won't be able to keep myself from crying at my therapy session this morning.

Hey, if you need to cry, then do so. Your tears shouldn't represent something negative; the therapist has most likely seen others cry before them before, so don't worry. The therapist will be able to help you better if you're completely open with them. I hope this goes well for you.

I managed to not cry, and the session went well. I felt relieved after it, and even more so after going to the gym to work out.
