Not sure, everyone is different and I stubbornly jumped off a high dose instead of tapering. They said two weeks at first, but it just seemed to peak after that time. So I'm trying not to think of when I will be 100% just taking it one day at a time.

What med is it? I remember coming off Effexor and wanting to kill myself for two months

Subutex, it's a substitute. And wow that sounds like pure hell! You kick ass for being strong enough to come out the other side of something like that.
Funny how prescribed medication can cause more harm than good in some cases.
^ You guys are terrifying me, will I never get off these drugs safely?!

Sorry didn't mean too! Not all medication is addictive, and there are precautions and steps for the ones which are.
My current situation is more my fault than the medication too.
Thanks for putting my mind at ease. I had a dream about having to halve the dose for the rest of my life, and of course I can't halve it to nothing, so i ended up with infinitesimally small doses.
Yes, I have dreams like this.

Like I'm lost in a haze or something. Definitely experiencing some depersonalization. And I sleep way too long, get up feeling exhausted and heavy, no motivation, no energy. It's starting to freak me out...
