How are you feeling?

Thanks James and gazelle. :)

I just had a bad night again - feelings of real self pity, which usually means I go into depression.

Ah, that feeling. : ( Sorry to hear that. Is there some part of your life that you could focus on right now to reverse those feelings into self appreciation? Is there something that you're looking forward to that you could think about? Could you give yourself something to look forward to? I was feeling down the other night, so I ordered a book on Amazon with super-saver delivery, so that I get almost a week to look forward to it arriving. Alright, so spending money is a pretty terrible way to cheer yourself up, but it's just an idea of something that worked for me.

Hope you feel better soon!

I suppose he thought somehow it were a compliment - funny that.

Hmm. It's a bit like pizza and ice cream. Pizza is good. Ice cream is good. Pizza and ice cream at the same time...not so good.

Telling someone you're there for them as a friend is good. Paying someone a compliment by telling them they are attractive is good. Combining the two into one statement where the first part is predicated on the second is really something he should have kept to himself.

Not much really. Maybe if I try hard enough I can focus on something positive. Or just buy me a ps3 and set myself back quite a bit. ::p:

Thanks again for the well wishes and concern. :D

I often have Confucius moments.

Sorry, I mean confused moments. I get the two mixed up. ;)

I am feeling raw.
Frustrated that at my age I have still not figured out how to permanently stop people's criticizing from burning my emotions.
I am amazed at those people who seem to have been born with a "thick skin" who are able to let any critical remark just fall off them and have no affect at all.

I always go to my world of music.
Headphones are useful.
But if this is not possible I don't show that it has affected me. For some people, if you ignore them they will stop (yes, like bullying kids).

Buuuut in the strange case you hear them and pay attention to what they say, you have to know that if you are so worried of what they say maybe is because you think it's true (or partly true).
So, there are two options:
- you think it's true while it's not. Try to stay calm, valuate how you really are and you will see you have nothing to worry about, they were lying.
- you think it's true because it is. There is something in your life you're not proud of, you have to see what are the different ways to change it.

Without more information this is the only I can say, sorry ::p:

Very tired. Nice weekend. But very tired now. And having a bout of the old 'hangover blues'

And Simpy ^, whats wrong?

Glad you had good weekend. That's one thing I don't miss is the 'hangover blues'.

Everytime I seem to be getting a bit better something always comes along and knocks me right back to where I started.

My dog just died. Still in shock... Feel horrible, though. I can tell you that.

Sorry to hear that Star, I can imagine how heartbroken you must feel. I not so long lost mine and it took it out of me for a good 2 weeks.
It's overwhelming when you lose someone who's been a part of your life for so long. You need to remember you gave your dog a good life and plenty of love, and he/she was happy with you.
