Does anyone else dislike Instagram?

I can't stand it. All i see is girls posting pictures of themselves. There's one girl i know of who has rich parents and who obviously loves herself because all she posts are pictures of her making one of those "duck" faces. Then when people comment and call her pretty she's all like "i'm SO not". She's either posting pictures of herself or the latest thing her (i'm assuming) parents bought her. She's 17 so i highly doubt she's pays for all the new handbags and clothes she posts pictures of everyday.

If it has anything to do with social networking then i stay well clear of it. i don't even use facebook i find the whole showing yourself off to everyone thing kinda annoying.

I see it like everyday while looking at instagram at those high class teenagers showing off everything they've got. It makes me so jealous actually! But maybe we are following the wrong people

I actually don't go on there anymore because it just made me feel worse. I just think some people get way too much happiness or good fortune without deserving it.

I control who and what I see on my feeds on social networking, so I don't get stressed out by junk I don't want to see like so many people seem to. Nobody's going to know if you're not watching their content unless maybe you're super-active or something? :idontknow:

I know what you mean. I don't even use social networking sites or instagram and I find all the "duck" face selfies irritating.

I also hate it when teenage girls who are fully aware that they are reasonably attractive say things like "I'm so ugly" or something along the lines of that to fish for compliments.

^Lol!... this thread kind of reminds of a picture that my teenage cousin posted a while ago on his facebook page. He always makes fun of his female friends when they pose like that!

I guess it depends on what you use it for, and who you follow. If people annoy you, you have options: you can either unfollow them, or you can block them.
What you do with the social networks is a completely different matter too... You can use it to get a message across to people. I myself use social networks to help people.

So sorry... but I can't dislike instagram, though I do dislike what some people do on it
