Dead quiet baby! How about you?

My mum says I used to be a very quiet baby.
She says I used to sleep like an adult, from 11pm to 8am, with a ininterrupt pattern of sleep.

She says I used to play lego when I was 1/2 years old for like 4,5 hours nonstop. She says that she would put me playing lego and abolutely no noise would came from the room I used to stay playing, so she would forgot me, and then, 5 hours later, she would remember me, and when she would arrive at the room I would be always playing at the same way.
(I'm so bad in english! What verbal tense should I have used here? sorry!)

She says I was the most peaceful baby ever, she says everyone was amazed about how simple it was to care of me.

Basically, sleep and food.
She says the only time I used to cry was when she put me at another's people arms. What a social phobic baby I was!

But I know I was happy. I'm always laughing at the pictures...

Were you a dead quiet baby too???????

The only thing I know is that I apparently screamed constantly while teething lol, so that would be no. But she has always said that when I was a toddler I would spend hours sitting in a corner away from everybody else, playing by myself. So I've always preferred playing/being alone, apparently.

Not exactly, but my mother said I almost fell down from a window in a two story building. As I was about to take a dive; my mum came in just in time to grab me leg. I don't know whether I should be happy or unhappy.

At the age of 4/5 I was hyperactive and annoying, but when a stranger would talk to me, I was quiet. I remember random people saying "hello" to me and I'd turn completely mute wanting to hide. My parents would make fun of me in order to motivate me to talk, they called me names in front of the people. They probably thought I was retarded. I was a bit agressive too and I cried a lot for no reason, my brother would hit me because my crying annoyed him, and the other relatives would treat me like sh*t for making my brother angry.

I don't think I was a quiet baby, I was crying a lot and was hyperactive. I read something from the shyness researcher Jerome Kagan, he found out that many people who are shy as adults used to be hyperactive in their early age.

I was quiet and relatively nocturnal.

When my mother used to check-up on me in the middle of the night, she said lots of times she'd find me sitting-up in my crib, just chillin'.

The pediatrician told her to leave some toys in the crib when she put me to bed and not worry about it. Ha Ha

I was told that I was a very obedient baby, no crying nothing, but I think the real reason I wasn't crying is because I got yelled at the few first times I did. I also suspect that I was abandoned in front of the tv for hours on end, and that either my mother, her own mother or both put some strange beliefs and sexual ideas inside my head.

What kind of kid play games with his mother where he goes inside the bathroom while she's taking a shower?

My mum told me an almost identical story about me when I was younger too. She said the only reason she had to check up on me was because I had been quietly occupying myself for so long that she had to check I was still alive! and I'd always be there happily playing exactly how she left me hours earlier!

I loved it when she told me that story, cause it explained a lot! I'm still virtually identical to that now!

I once told a cat to **** off when I was like 1 and a half:p my mom lied she took my dudo... i have two german shepherds today..

I was a fat quiet baby, I also fell down likke 30 stairs when I was 2, I guess I escaped my crib in the middle of the night and decided to go for a dive. My brother caught me at the bottom, I don't know what difference it made. Came out unscathed.....I think, maybe that made me socially slow lol

"Dead Quite Baby" where is that term derived from ? Yeah i have always been a quite person as a child and as a teen. In my teen years of high school i played all sports and was always the quietest, shyest person on the team and in the school for that matter. When we had to do public speeches in high school and college i wouldn't even go in front of the class and got zero's on my first 3 high school speeches and it was even hard to read from my desk ( I mean extremely difficult). Anyways i went to college and ill prob never be a teacher or a public speaker but i made an A, A, and a B in 3 public speech classes i took in college idk maybe the teacher just pitied me.
