I don't know whether this can be classified as rape or not because both the girl and the guy are minors. Though the age gap is large.

Girls are entering puberty at a very young age (age 10 or under) probably because of the processed food that we eat. Sex education usually doesn't start until middle school, but since children are maturing earlier, I think sex ed needs to start earlier.

Wouldn't it be rape regardless of age if the act was non-consensual? I wonder what is going to happen to the baby..

Thing is, she was willing, and is happy with the baby. No such thing as statutory rape in Mexico as far as I know, but still to charge the father of the newborn for doing a minor.

the age of consent in mexico is 12 isn't it? that in it's self is .... disgusting.

and according to wiki the 5 year old was pregnant in 1970s (40years ago)

Nope, it ain't. Not every photo of a naked child equals child pornography. Have you never been on a beach in the summer, and see some children run around naked? Well, maybe the society got more sensitive since I was a child. If that is a positive development... I got my doubts.

There are children in my own school district who are making the news because they are rubbing their genitals on each other at school. The school is getting in trouble for downplaying it as a "game." I blame television.
