No, a girl i know is a self harmer her whole right arm is covered and i mean covered in deep scars. I have never ever judged her how could anyone judge someone who has that surely they must see that its a sign of pain and vulnerability !!

I wouldn't care. I would hope they were no longer doing that to themself but I wouldn't think less of the person. I have scars from construction work and I would hope no one cared about them

ahhhh my friend was the same she was incredibly self conscious about her scars and that made her feel like shit and she'd cut herself again i know its a horrible thing to go through...they do say however that sunlight is a healer of scars.

same with me man she is my very good friend but i never judged her and i never asked about them either

i have a scar right across my throat :( and i know when people look at it they assume the worst and it makes me very self aware when u can see it and its no help when i try to meet women :(

Redzer, I would never think the worst looking at your scar. I would only feel pain thinking about what you had been through. It would actually draw me closer to you, not put me off. I have to think there are many women who feel the same way.

I would be curious if i saw someone with self harm scars, i wouldn't judge them because i know what depression is. I've got a small cross which i burnt with a hot needle on my arm and a lot of people question that.

It doesn't bother me, no. My boyfriend used to be a horrible cutter. He's got some pretty big, deep scars. I don't judge him for it at all. I know that he was going through a really rough time, and if I had the balls to harm myself, I'm sure I would.
